I was wondering if there is any difference in the vendor that you would gamble from??? I usually gamble from Annya because I thought that Act 5 would result in better items. Thanks for any help

the npc you gamble from doesnt make a difference, only your clvl,
when you gamble the ilvl will be clvl-5 to clvl+3 iirc (Frosty will probably correct me here)

-5 to +4 IIRC. Thats why you need to be 93 to gamble amulets that will have an ilevel of 90 when crafted and always have a CHANCE of getting the +2 skills mod.

ill gamble a bunch on sp and use atma to fingure it out

ok, looks like -5 to +4, with clvl62, amus and rings get ilvl57-66

ok, a follow up question (sorry for stealing the thread :D)

if a clvl 95 gambles an item, then gives it to a clvl 5 character, then clvl 5 identifies it...
what kind of mods will appear on the item? mods that have ilvl 90+? or ilvl5?

The ilevel depends on the level of the gambling character. At that point they become fixed.

In single player you can see the ilevel of the item in ATMA before it is identified.

In any case, when you gamble an item, it's automatically identified for you... unless it's some feature in some mod to be able to gamble non-id'd items.

for all unid items, there mods are set when the item is droped or gambled
