gear question for avenger

not entirely sure what gear I should use for an off realm avenger, I got acces to all mentioned below(possibly more if u have better suggestions)

gear I will use
weapon: doom berserker axe (sounds intresting to use HF from doom synergized for vengeance anyway)
helmet: eth nightwing veil (zodded)
ammy: maras
belt: verdungo
boots: upped gore rider
gloves: draculs

not sure bout armor-shield combo

was thinking either HoZ(upped) and guardian angel (also upped)
or eth exile and chains of honor

reasons for both
HoZ: skillbonuses, statbonus, block, res
+GA: max res, upped has about 1500 def

eth exile: twice as much def as HoZ, defiance aura(hello might merc), also nice skillbonusses (+4 for conviction, save hardpoints),15% lvl 5 lifetap(might mess up with draculs) (shield I have it in has 29 res all)
Chains: 2 to all skills, DR, res all, lifesteal, and added dmg on demon and undead

so what I wanne know is what would be the best combo, and if chains what armor would be best to make it in
also if other equips fit my other slots better, feel free to comment on that
