Ring will look good on just about any melee build.

As for the two shields, they complement each other perfectly as starter gear.

Try the cube socket recipe on the white one, then add +max jewels or 19-20%ED jewels with low level req (no more than lvl 18 preferrably). Be sure to add the %ED jewels BEFORE the +max jewels. Else they won't work right because of a bug).

The 3s 45 res one gets 102 resist all with 3 pdiamonds, and level req 18. This will allow you to not worry about resists on ANY other gear until you enter hell. By then you're probably at least lvl 70 anyway, so you have a lot of better options. (Like a spirit in a similar shield, just with 4s instead of 3)
