Hi im just wondering what other character[s] i should make to fill up my account...

I currently have:

Blizz Sorc - Pvm/Mf
Light Sorc - Pvm
Orb Sorc - Pvp/Mf
Bone Necro - Pvp
Speeder Barb - Pvp

I was thinking of making a fire sorc to mf and a foher to duel with (also possibly a hammerdin even though i dont like how they are in small areas)... any ideas? Id appreciate if some ppl gave me thier opinions on what else i should make to duel or mf with... like, what would be more effiecient for either than what i already have. =]

u should try a LLD =]
they are really fun to play wit when u tire of other chars
and i wouldn't recommend a fire mf sorc, unless ur only doin andy and meph runs

a goldfind/corpsepopping barb could be quite interesting. Great mfer, a bit different from sorcs and that adds to the fun. I personally prefer using those barbs to sorcs. and a lot of other people do aswell.

I would agree with banza and Zrk. LLD can be great fun. Also a MF/GF barb makes for a nice change of pase, or rather, scenery.
Of the latter I am inclined towards a goldfinding barb to feed my gold gambling habbits. :)

If you want something drastically different, try a healer, you will be the most loved char in the CS and if you max out your holy bolt damage synergies you can kill single undead faster a hammerdin. As for aura's, you should probably go for Meditation(regenerates mana and life), since most mana abusers love that neigh infinate mana. Another option would be Cleansing(the one that removes curses and regenerates life), since cleansing also heals minions. Then again, look around your local CS's and see how many minions there actually are there before you dedicate to one aura. Note that the curse length reduction of cleansing will be loved by most aswel.

I was thinking of an lld... but it doesnt seem like there are many lld games on useast. and the duels ive been in lately resulted in the other party bringing thier lvl 85+ characters =\

As for the mf/gold finding barb... im so used to teleport that walking/running makes me fall asleep. =p

I'm on USEast :D Looking for LLD, I was "pking" normal games. I found all them to easy so i got myself to nm to practice. lvl 19. Remaking as 13 =]

I say make an lld , Basic ones are cheap and dont take to long to lvl.

I got bored of normal builds and tried a healer, that was the funnest build i think i have ever played, killing undead was no problem but trying to heal someone who needs it, and a minion or random person gets in way and steals the holy bolt gets frustrating, most people liked cleansing, the only people who liked meditation were sorces, necros, and low level hammerdins screaming for mana

So true, so true.
Oh, the joys of the ignorant masses who walk in your line of fire when you are healing the tank in the fectorgroup.
The main problem is, on their screen, the holy bolts carry on trough them to hit the intended, so they do not realise their mistake.
And minions, sigh, the horror. The meatshield can be nice, but when the minions start getting in the way of people needing health. Death and Tirades follow. :)

I also found it to be the most fun char to play. Hence at the moment my healer on Euro SC NL is level 90. Every CS game requires a different strategy, so you have to be adaptive. Every party is different, so the needs of the parties varry greatly.

re: healer.

last night I cs'ed about 10 games with Star_acolyte on east. I think he's lvl 90, or maybe a couple higher. After infector is dead, he can solo the cs (presumably with a BO, which we mostly had) and he wasn't so much worried about healing folks - which was amusing, cause there were a couple of lvl 5x chars, and one lvl 8 character - yes 8 - that kept spamming the screen with their deaths, and cursing him (and me, and the lvl 8x sora) for not killing everything...

when he flashed his aura's, the undead bounced back from him more abruptly than from most leaper's.

I have toyed with the idea for a while, and now that I have a 3rd priz pdia pally shield, I may just do that. :)

it was also funny watching him whilst we waited for the BO a couple of times.

He'd run out, convert a venom lord, then spam holy bolt at the converted venom lord, and watch it tank/kill, and/or act as a meat shield, while he healed it... :laugh:
