Question about cube recipe

1 Tal Rune + 1 Amn Rune + 1 Perfect Ruby + Normal Shield = Socketed Shield of same type

Any know if this recipe will work on a kurast shield? It mention 'normal shield' but a kurast shield is elite.

"Normal" in this case means white text, not superior or cracked/crude etc etc. It will work.

Ok thanks, another question as well, if i socket a shield and dont get the desired sockets, will this recipe work on the now socketed shield?

It won't work, since that shield now is a grey text item.
