Base Weapon Speed

According to the item database in this site the Cutlass is the only weapon (that I found) with a -30 base speed. The Scimitar (the non-exceptional counterpart of the cutlass) only has a base speed of -20. Does anyone know if this information is correct? Also does someone know the breakpoints for smite? I'm thinking about making a very fast smiter. Thanks.

That is indeed the only weapon you can use with Zeal that has a -30 base speed. Indeed it's normal counterpart has -20, this information is correct.

I allways find it by checking the left menu on the main diabloii.net site, then clicking on the section map right below the characters(in the information section of the menu)
Then on that Section Map, in the fifth column on the far right, you will find the above link in the Info Sheets section.

Thanks Warlock for posting that link. From that chart it looks like Base Weapon Speed can really drastically change the amount of ias you need to reach the fastest possible smite. With a -30 base you only need 65 ias which would be 40ias cutlas weapon + deaths hand or sigs gloves. BTW I'm on west scl. I'll take that cutlas from you :thumbsup:
