It looks like the old thread had gotten long enough, so here is your shiny new Pricecheck thread.

Some things to keep in mind:
* It is often useful if you post the type of things you are looking for when you post an item for pricecheck. For example: "Can I get A or B for this?" or "How many Pgems do you think this is worth?" or "What TC items could I likely get for this?"
* Values can vary depending on the person and what they value, since this is a barter system. Any responses you get are just opinions, so keep that in mind.
* Don't forget the item's mod status, as this can affect the price.

Shimmering Grand Charm of Sustenance
For starters, it's worth an auction. Personally, I think it's an awesome charm, since at least half of my chars use a shimmering GC for resists. I estimate its value equal to a mid-end skiller with the same amount of life. I don't think you can get a 35-lifer PCombat or sorc skiller for it, for instance.

Plain lvl 85 charms are worthless. Only level 91+ charms (found from Nihlathak, Diablo, or Baal) are worth ~20 PGems, because they could be rerolled into 41-45 life vita charms.
Your jewel is worth a handful of PGems, I think, but no more, since the 'Glacier' suffix isn't really wanted. Ruby jewels of fervor, ease, carnage/bliss are more valuable. Especially of fervor.

3/13/14 is moderately valueable and is worth much more than a shako. Worth at least multiple useful uniques.

But the ilvl. of Sharp>>18. This fine GC is LLD worthy, but I can't say how much, since I've seen very little LLD stuff being traded around here.
@Heskla: I traded exactly the same charm (except the fingerprint, doh) for a mid-level elite unique. I think it's worth more, but not very much, since cry-babas are not very much in demand.

IMO, neither is worth more than a few pgems: the ammy has decent resist but replenish life is next to useless and the fcr ring either needs more resists or higher stats.

@Jae: Seems like someone just left the NTPP. :laugh: *pops champagne*
It's a bit difficult to price those skillers, but at least the assassin/duid ones are good for the PvP'ers around here. I think that Traps>shadow>MA, so probably no Vex, but still at the top end of what the forge can drop. The necro skillers will probably net you less, since the last time I checked, fishies preferred MF in their backpacks.

Those are all very nice - not quite auction worthy, but each one should land you a nice item or two. Runes, I'd guess in the Lum-Lem range (depending on the buyer)...

Pc in runes?
I have made a list of the items I need to complete my WW IK barbarian. I am using top items because it is and will be my only character (otherwise it would be a waste). Would you please help me by telling me the approximate value of them? I know they are very expensive (out of NTPP), but please try to tell me the price in pgems, it helps a lot to compare to other items.
Jewels:
More than +30% Damage and 15% IAS (That is, Ruby Jewel of Fervor)
More than +30% Damage and more than +15 Life (That is, Ruby Jewel of Hope)
Small charm:
100/175 Poison Damage and more than +15 Life (That is, Toxic/Pestilent SC of Vita)

I think I get the idea of the price of the Ruby jewel of fervor, with bodis' help and this auction (http://forums.diabloii.net/showpost.php?p=5454819&postcount=12), where it was sold for lots of items... Well, let's see what is the value of bodis' Realgar jewel of fervor and the other jewel and small charm in my list.

Bodis, I'd say Um-Mal... it's nice, and certainly a very good jewel, but they're just common enough that any offers likely won't overwhelm you.
And yes, higher-end plain Rubies have some value... not much. I'd guess they're in the PGem range though (maybe something like a Hel/Io, maybe not).
... and Wanchu, there's no way in this world that you're getting a Ruby of Fervor for PGems. That's like trading a Vex for a bunch of Nef runes, and I'll shoot the person that does it (it'd be a mercy killing - insanity is a burden on society).

Blood Whorl: Probably not good enough. FHR looks nice, but that's only 1 charm slot you save. Maybe a few gems.
Grim Gyre: Respectable, but again it's middling ED + a little more than 1 small charm's worth of res. Not too bad, but not really worth much.
Ghoul Eye: Kinda meh. Blood crafts can beat that without too much difficulty. A few gems to the right buyer.

I don't know about how much the Ormus' Robes are, but Atma's Wail is a pretty low priced item. Worth maybe 3-5 pgems. It's pretty good, with a little of everything, but it's just too common to be worth much.

I would say not much since a magical Circlet / Coronet / Tiara / Diadem can outperform it due to access to dual sockets. Your Diadem would be very good if the other mods would be useable at all, but as it stands don't expect too much. It's still a very nice pot, and very good for a beginner PvP trap assassin. Just not as good as a magical one :laugh:
Someone who's just starting up a trap assa would probably pay something for it. The ones who aim for optimal won't.

@The Cow King: It's pracitcally useless. Harlequin Crest or a rare can easily beat it since most cold sorceresses don't need heaps of FCR.
@Luca Rescigno: Wraith Flight isn't very valuable since it isn't very useful. Still it's a pretty rare item so 40-50 Pgems is achivable.
@ Darkoo: Those skillers are extremly valuable, just name you price and you'll get it. For rune value, I would say a Ist/Gul for burning, Ist for Harpoonist.
@Gabriel74: Earth Shifter and Cranium Basher aren't very useful sadly, so don't expect very much. I would pay 1 Um max per maul if I needed them.
@MantrA: I would Charsi it. It isn't very useful as it only has two useful mods, and most people look for 3-6 useful mods before they buy one.
As always, this is just my opinion and may be totally off. :thumbsup:

I think I heard tell of a Tyrael's for Jah swap, but the price was a little inflated since it was a grail-finisher... that could all be wrong though, my memory ain't perfect you know. :tongue:
Personally, I think a Jah would be 1000 times more useful than a Tyrael's. I might consider trading an Ohm (if I had one) for a Tyreal's, but I don't think I'd trade more.

- typical useful skiller: ~40-50 PGems, or a couple decent uniques.
- great roll on the Wolfhowls skills (the defense is nice too): Useful TC75 - TC84 for trade - I've never tried a wolfbarb for play, so I have no idea how great they are (IIRC, Stridje or someone else before my time had a lvl99 Wolfbarb - so they can't be all bad :rolleyes:).

- Circlet = PGems. Needs 'of the Magus' suffix to be really valuable.
- Sharp GC = Exceptional Uniques - most LLD here is 18 or lower, so the requirement of 21 is unfortunately too high. And since the roll is good (not great), I think you'd get more value to keep it and twink it onto your melee chars while questing.
@Headjumper,
- The circlet could really use some resists... too bad, because it's got other nice stats, but I don't think you'd get anything magnificent for it... Perhaps useful for PvP crowd with a 200FCR firesorc, but otherwise I'd rather have a Shako. As a result, I'd say Shako > your circlet.
- Eth Wolfhowl... are you going to stick a Zod in it? Probably not... I think I traded my ethereal one to someone after an eth-grail, and it got a very good return... otherwise, they're fairly useless.

Some people will trade Rals and Orts as equivalent to PGs. As rune trading has only been allowed in the SPF for the last (12?) months or so, people are only just getting used to trading runes. It is difficult to give a comparison, really it is PGs for stuff that Hell Meph can drop, Runes for the more useful EUs.

I don't think you can get +15 till level 18. That jewel has +damage and ed% usable at level 8, which would be good for level 9 PvP. If it was +14/15 usable at level 18 I would be very interested in it.

What about a low homonculus, and how much should i expect to pay for a ~ 20 maras?
Since the only variation on homon's is the % ed the price between a low and a high one isn't that big.
However, both homo and mara (even a 20 one) are worth alot more than a 5-7 pgem raven, if that's what you were asking.
As for myself, I'd probably not sell any of those for mere pgems, unless for a really large amount, since they are both very useful uniques

@DaveW: the griz heart is worth practically nothing, I'm afraid. They're just too common. The caddy, on the other thing, is rather rare. It's not in the same league as a SoJ, true, but it can easily net you an arach. Depending on the number of sockets (one of the 2 most important parts, the other being the ED roll), I'd be pretty interested.
@Pwnagsta, the Redemption has 4 sockets. It has 230% ED. Funny that the 'dump info' didn't include the number of sockets. If interested, let me know.

No offense taken, auction the rune after your out of NTTP and see what you can get, its as simple as that.
The PVP scene nets the highest amount of $$ in terms of items. Dont get me wrong, that ring is sweet for melee PVM, but leech isnt so hot in PVP. Need AR and Id get a raven frost or angelics. FCR + Str + Dex + Res are kinda highly valued. I didnt realize how tight NTTP can be for trading, you could probably net a restricted item or 2, but I dont really think this ring is gonna net you massive godly items in an aution. IMO only.

If you are looking for runes, the wait will probably be worth it, since that ring probably can get you higher than Hel. My thoughts exactly. I was thinking an UM or Mal, along those lines, which are definately NTTP, but I dont think I would give up any of my TC 87 / hard to come by items for it.

The boots would need more resists and more MF, not to mention triple res is the best. There have been at least two Chilling Balance auctions recently so you should get a pretty good picture by checking them I think.

On the other side, looking at them, i would be probably intrested to some, if not all of them, since i realy want that fancy twink gear:tongue: If you have anything other in search of except soj, mara's, LMK!

And the fact that hoto is better makes this unvaluable? :P i wont be expecting vex pul for it :grin: (and 40 res assumes perf roll ;))

You are sarcastic again?:) Skillers GC with that boost to life are with the skillers of balance best charms around. And that fancy +40 life (max for ilvl 80) is nice.. I might be interested too, since i am not sure i can bid properly for those 2 at Jae's auction.. If gone for pgems, IMO is 40-60, or smtng like that..
Regarding Eschuta's.
I've compared seven different lightsorc scenarios, with HotO, CM phaser, Eschuta's, etc... In the end, a +3/~20% eschuta's won by a small margin because it can be socketed with a +x/-5% light facet. The analysis I made regarded Baal's minion waves, three of which always have 50+% light resist. In that case, any opportunity to socket a facet anywhere is a huge help. The resists are tricky to get, but boots/gloves help out nicely.
So, in conclusion, while I think a Mal is a bit high, I can understand why a highly optimized lightsorc is willing to pay that for a 1% off perfect light Eschuta's.

the +19 light damage does very little, it just adds on top off your lightning mastery, resulting in a very low increase in damage. However the -resist from cresent moon is great for pvm, -X resistance does way more than +X damage, in almost every case.
Hoto outclasses escuta's by far, sure it has the same +skills and FCR, but hoto has so many other great mods.
edit: I'm not debating on it's value, just the fact that you seemed to mean that eschuta's beat hoto.

Actually, the better comparison for Escuta's is the Occy, which isn't all that hard to come by.* Unless you need that extra 10% FCR or really can't stand the teleport, Occy will generally beat Escuta's.
*Weirdly enough, for my Vanilla characters, I have a HotO, but not an Occy. Life is weird. :grin:
@NightFind, you should put a trade thread together for your Grand Charm. You could probably get a lot of stuff for that Summoning Charm.

Etheral Demons Arch: Not extremly valuable, but you should get maybe 20-30 pgems for it.
Thunderstroke: It's a very good roll, so about the same as the Demons Arch, because it isn't very useful.
