namelock?

that may sounds stupid, but im not sure i exactly know how does the namelock work. could you tell me if im wrong? that's what i think 'nec namelocking' could be:

(namelocking example on spirit > tele > spear)
1. i move the cursor over my opponent and i R-click & hold him, having b.spirit on the R-click. so now i will cast spirits and every one of them will follow my opp whenever he goes.
2. while still holding my R-click i change R-skill for tele, so next time my nec will cast a spell, it will be a tele on top of my opponent. when my nec begins to tele i instantly change my R-skill for b.spear. i loose the namelock after tele.
3. i have to regain my namelock, and by R-click & hold i multi-spear my opponent while being close to him.

is this what you call namelocking? could you show/tell me real-duel examples of namelocks? is multi-namelocking just doing the same thing many times then the opponent goes away from me?

That's correct.

If you want examples, just go watch any competant pvp d2 caster video.

Multi-namelocking is generally called Chainlocking.

any tips about name/chainlocking ?

Get the first lock with spear or just teleport on top of them with tele.

Then switch to spear, etc. Or spirit if the situation requires it.
