If you really want to do PvP with a real (pure) fire druid it is how you play?

there are a couple variations:

20 firestorm
20 molten boulder
20 fissure
20 volcano

that is the fundamental setup. you can then go with:
1-20 armageddon
1-20 oak
1-20 grizzly
1 sockwave

as far as gear goes i would suggest

ravenlore
enigma
mara's/rare ammy
magefists
arachnid
spirit/stormshield or on some occasions a 20/20 faceted shield
treks
2xbk/2xsoj or a ravenfrost in combo with either of the two
hoto/30/30 faceted pb

sockets to consider:

ber, sheal, fire facet, cham, p diamand, p ruby, etc.

fire druids are all about skill and stratagy. they arn't an easy build to play with. your biggest obsticle is gonna be stacked fire res and absorb because you have minimal alternative damage. many take the grizzly route and tele on top of their opponent so their bear can lay down some physical damage. bears are also useful if they knockback your opponent over a fissure. fire druids, as im sure many will agree, are all about first hand experience. same with many builds, there is no right or wrong way to play with them, they are all about what you feel confortable with.

be sure to check out the fire druid thread that is fairly active right now, there is a lot of goodies and ideas floating around in there.

hope this helped.

i was thinkin more like..

20-Oak
20-firestorm
20-Fissure
20-Armagedon
1-cyclone armor
1-spirit wolves
and then lay the rest of my points either into volcano or cyclone armor

and wut would be better...Hoto and spirit mon..or 30/30 pb and 20/20 mon?

or maybe i was thinkin since i have a 3os +3 volcano +11 to energy pelt im gunna put 3 p fire facets in there and use hoto then maybe instead of spirit i can use a 20/20 monarch??...idk im still tring to decide...

Those 20 pts in oak would be better spent in a fire synergy. You should have at least plus 10 skills from various "decent" pvp items. More than enough for oak. As has been said previously, res stacking and absorb are the fire druids big problems so have as much damage as possible from the start.

I have just made a GrizzlyGeddon. If you want a fun build with fire emphasis its a great way to go. Same skills as fire elemantalist with 1 pt each in ww,lycan, maul and shockwave. There is a 2 week old thread with all the idea's for that build in it, all you need to do is search for it.
