Aye...It's been a long time, my dear Dii.net.

After a two year hiatus, I'm coming back to d2.

After much browsing, I've decided I wanna play classic. As I had some crazy fun in classic when I played it. I also don't feel like dealing with the xpac issues that we all know and despise.

I'd planned on making an Orb sorc to glitch Meph with. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated with the easiest way to go about doing this.

there's a build guide for this very type of character at the top of the classic section. It's actually a very successful guide, and I grudgingly wish akukami hadn't published it. I am meeting/competing with all too many these days...

For reference, my Fire/Meteor sorc took mephy down a lot quicker, but it was much harder levelling her (this before I accidentally quested her). Even Andy was a chore with all of the fire immune fallens around her in hell.

If you have someone flayer you, from say lvl40 to lvl 75 or so, it'll make your life a LOT easier. otherwise, stick to the guide akukami wrote.
