View Full Version : Help with PvP Bowzon
Hey, i just started to make a PvP bowzon and im kind of clueless about gears, all i know is that i use highlords for ammy, and 1 ravenfrost, wartravs, and thats all. i need to know what would be the best armor, best helmet, best bow, and the best gloves.
-By the way I AM NON-LADDER
armor - fortitude, no contest (will be hard to find on nl probly :P).. get it in a ds or something with low str req
helm - giant skull (knockback) with 15 ias jewels in it, preferably with an ed mod
bow - GMB faith if you can get it - look for one with 13+ aura/2 skill/ 3 b/c skill
gloves - rare or crafted ones with 20 ias.. if that fails, dracs own but are considered BM

With a GMB you can't use anything other then a 45 ias helm if you want 7 frame attack unless you don't use a fort.
Normal gear is:
120/45
cat's eye
Faith GMB
Fort
20 ias kb gloves
raven frost
str/dex ring
nos coil
war travs
Yeah, but if i use all those gears you just showed ThatWasShockin, then there wouldn't be any deadly strike in there considering the fact that your using cats eye instead of highlords, because if you get like level 6 critical striek theres a 50% to do 2x damage, then if you 50% deadly strike then that'd be like have a 50% chance of doing 4x damage, but always doing 2x damage.. correct?

Critical strike and deadly strike don't stack how you think they would if I remember right. I'm not sure how they work together. You could use a highlords if you want, but on a bowa frw is your friend.

Crit goes first, iirc. Then, the % chance that crit does not activate is taken as the span in which DS works. For example, 50%crit and 33% DS:
chance for crit strike = 50% = chance of NOT getting crit
Chance of getting deadly strike = chance of NOT getting crit x ds% = 50% x 33% = 16.7% (1dp)
Your chance of getting double damage is then = chance of getting crit + chance of getting deadly strike = 50% + 16.7% = 66.7%
i'm not really sure i understand, lol can you explain it in easier an easier way o_o
