How does holy freeze work with clay golem and decrep curse? Will it stack, or would it be a waste to use holy freeze? Will I notice a difference if hf is added to the combo of cg and decrep?

err, i think the answer is: yes.

afaik: holy-freeze stacks with golem, so if decrep stacks with golem (idk, does it?) then yes, holy freeze will slow opponents further.

decrep, clay, and cold mages (or cold damage from your merc) all stack, i don't see why holy freeze wouldn't. it'd probably slow to an absolutely ridiculous amount, if you don't mind the shattering corpses

well try it out.. all you need to do is hire an new merc for the test (assuming you alredy have a necro)

They really slow. But the shatterd monsters are really annoying. If you want cold monsters use ice mages. But i like light+fire combo myself.

HF, decrep, CG combo would be pretty good for a pnova or pdagger necro. otherwise the hf would shatter corpses and you get low summons.

Holy Freeze and Decrepify use skill-based slow (plain negative EIAS/EFRW), while Clay Golem has item-based slow, thus doesn't stack with for example a Kelpie on your merc, or some other item with slow%. Holy Freeze doesn't slow act bosses.

And the shatter effect is only 20% of the time, the remaining 80% should be plenty for whatever summon you need.
