Poison Nec

Hello all
wanted to make a poison nova necro but had a few questions.
Is this char still viable in hell?
Can it kill FAST in 8 people games?
Does lower resist work for poison res or just elemental (F/I/L)?
Does conviction lower poison res?

dependin on the answers to the last 2 questions:
can i break the poison immune on ALL or any monsters in hell?

This char is for pvm so should i use...
Corpse explosion
Summons
Fire golem
to finish off the enemies?

also what about gear
was thinkin just go for dmg and lower nme res:
trang glove
bramble
deathweb
shako/circlet
shield not sure (spirit vs homo)

Do i need fast cast if i got merc n summons?


IF someone could tell me about a godly poison build plz do!
either ur advice or a guide i missed.

1. It can kill quiet fast in a 8p game with the right gear.
Lower resistance Works for poison and elemental
Infinity doesn't lower poison resistance.

My necro hits 10kish poison damage with Enigma instead of Bramble.
Clears Chaos S in about 3 mins 1p game. No idea how i do 8p.

i checked the stickies,
one is for a poison mfer and the other a summon poison hybrid.
I dont plan on pvping but i dont want my equip. geared for mf nor a hybrid.
Does neone have a pure venom necro that does well in hell (8 ppl games)?
or even in single person games.

plz post what makes ur venom nec unique. dmg, cast etc .

i have created a poison/summon hybrid with the trang's set and it works pretty well in hell-8pl

8k dmg pnova, corpse explosion, 14 skeles and all curses

ello. My main character is a poisonmancer and I've had lots of fun with him. I built him for both pve and pvp. I can tell you from experience that solo there is no issues and you can easily take out diablo and baal. You just have to avoid poison immunes. There's some creatures that even with poison resist/facets/death's web that makes things rather hard for the necromancer in 8 people games but if you destroy the nonpoison immunes, following that up with corpse explosion, and allowing your teammates to do damage you're still quite useful.

In terms of killing power/speed I rival my friend's hammerdin. :smiley:
