Best Gear for PvP Bow Zon

Well I made a zon and shes level 64 right now.I need to know the best Gear for Damage and decent IAS including charms and everything.I also would like to know what to put my skill points in.Yes I checked zon guides but havent found what I was looking for.thanks :shocked:

All my knowledge is comming form those guides, and I really think that most of the knowledig from this forum is somewhere stated in one of those guides. So tell me, and the other from this forum, what exactly haven't you found in those guides? From what I read, some of them really give you good information. You just don't have to much option.

Charms should be damage charms preferably with life, as well as enough fhr and frw charms to hit acceptable breakpoints. I think desynch was 136% frw or something near that.

Up'd Witchwild string bow:

+150-170% Enhanced Damage
+1% Chance of Deadly Strike per Clvl
Fires Slvl 20 Magic Arrows or Bolts
All Resistances +40
2% Chance to cast Slvl 5 Amplify Damage on striking

It doesn't look like much, but trust me, it is just Death Cleaver for Zeal paladins. Death Cleaver has a 66% chance of Deadly Strike, which is one of your best friends in PvP. Double damage, flat out. Being a Bowazon, you will already have a high Critical Strike chance. This is basically the same thing as Deadly StrikeSo say you have 50% chance of each. That means that half the time, you will be doing regular damage, 25% of the time you will be doing double, and 25% of the time you'll be doing quadruple!

So if your at level 64, you already have 64% chance of Deadly Strike. Use a Higlord's Wrath amulet. It gives 0.375% chance per level. So at level 64 with both Witchwild and Highlord's were talking 88% chance Deadly Strike. Virtually every arrow you shoot does double damage.

Also it fires a high level magic arrow, which adds more damage, and takes away the need for arrows.

Though it probably won't come up, there is a small chance to cast Amplify Damage. So if you were to cast that and do both Deadly Strike and Critical Strike, you would do 8x the damage. Amazing.

Also, with a bow resist is low, and this one helps with as much resist as a good shield.

The bow is fast, so put a Shael in it, or a 15% IAS jewel with some other juicy mods to make it better.

So you have damage from the bow, the enhanced damage, Amplify Damage, Critical Strike, Deadly Strike, the extra damage form the level 20 magic arrows (which, don't forget, obviously adds some irresistible magic damage) and then whatever damage bonus you get from Guided Arrow/Strafe.

Sorry, kind of a tangent, but this bow was always good to me, and it isn't even hard to get. Enjoy!

It is my understanding that you won't be doing quad damage with that bow any of the time unless you factor in the Amp damage curse. DS and CS will not stack. You get one or the other, not both at the same time.

That being said, still a great bow and very customizable; but for PvP you'll probably be better off with one of the higher damage bows and pump up your CS skill.
