fait(14 aura)

current ammy is metal grid for ar and res
looking at
atmas for ctc amp
high lords for ds and ias
or just stick with metal grid

---> Atma's Scarab
I say give your merc Reaper's Toll and skip out on Atma's Scarab. I would rather have Cat's Eye ANY day.
Atma > cats for pvm, ur gonna need the amp, cept if u get the reapers on merc,but if merc dies...

if you need ias, cat's eye. if you dont, cat's eye.
i have issues with atma's.

Cat's eye if you have problems hitting things.
If you don't, then Atmas is a good ammy, too.
But I'm heavily leaning away from Atma's.

Nobody likes metal grid?? big ar, def, res. no ias but can put in helm
If you really want AMP then go with Reapers. Yes, the merc dies, but it's going to happen anyway -- let him be genuinely useful when he is around. In my mind the 25 dex and huge boosts to IAS and FRW outweigh my desire to cast AMP. I just don't like Atma's that much, honestly. I would choose Highlord's, in fact, before taking Atma's.
All the Cat's Eye mods = useful
Atma's = not so useful
To the poster talking about Metalgrid -- not for a zon. The res is nice, but a zon's AR should be high enough so that there is no need to worry anyway. Metalgrid just doesn't cut it for me. Mara's, yes, it's reliable, but Cat's Eye is more versatile...it allows you greater gear flexibility.
Besides, although we ALL run into crowds we don't want to be a part of on occasion, zons just don't generally worry about DEF. We're usually in the back lines anyway, so DEF just isn't a vitally important statistic.
