It has nice mods. This is the normal version, it would have to be upgraded twice of course. Don't know if it would still top WF, Faith, or even WWS. It would be better if it had IAS I suppose.

It's a stag bow:

Skull Bolt
Damage: 29-93
+2bow/xb skills
+298% ED
+46 to max damage (.5/char level)
+2 to min damage (!)
1534 to attack rating (based on char level)
crappy frozen arrow charges

It's OK. I would probaly keep it, but may never use it. The damage is low but the AR bonus is nice. With a level 48 req, there are better bows for zons at that level.

Interesting if you can upgrade the bow twice via cube recipe.

The Fool's affix and 298%ED are very nice. As a Matriachal
bow it might be very interesting to use, especially if you prefer using rares you've found.

Good Bow.

Up'd- it'd be pretty good- but not better than the Uniques.

Up'd, Up'd- It'd be pretty darn good- I'd use it until I could find one of the end-game uniques (like Windforce).

I don't know. It is nice, but X2 up'ed the phys damage will be nice, but that's ALL your getting. You get a huge AR bump, but you'll have to burn a socket quest to Shael or 15/xx it.

It is nice, but I can think of bows I would still take over it.

I think I would even certainly use a Buriza before this one, but that's just a personal opinion.

I have a bow much like this -- a Great Bow -- that has something outrageous on it, like 386% ED, 20IAS, Fool's Mod, and, I believe, 20 Fire Res...it's a great bow. I have an Act 1 Merc who uses it and she does insane damage.

It might be itneresting. But, honestly, I think you would have to burn a socket quest and give it a really nice jewel before it would be worth it.

If it had spawned with 2 socs, man, it would definitely be a keeper.

burning a socket quest is of no consequence at all. This is a pretty ok bow, but lack of ias hurts it badly. I have a similar one with ias and max damage, and it would be better than yours.

Oullada,

I'm aware...I've seen the bows you posted in the Rares thread. What confuses me is why you would feel compelled to say, "it would be better than yours."

I wasn't trying to say, "hey, I have this great thing -- LOOK AT ME!!!!"

I was making a statement directed at the poster to let him know that I use a bow comparable to this and that it works VERY well.

As to burning the socket quest, meh, it'a a matter of personal taste, I suppose. But, honestly, I can think of a million things I would socket before this bow. That, to me, makes it less appealing. But, again, it's only an opinion.

I think it's a nice bow, and I'd certainly keep it around. I just don't know how much time and wealth I would invest in it with the expectation of stellar returns.

No, I meant that I have a similar bow to the OP's, just that it has ias, and that would make it better by qutie a bit. Nothing in relation to your bow.

Sorry for the double post, but fool's and master's are in the same group of affixes, so they can't spawn together. Were your stats correct? Just curious. :)

Ouallada,

You're right, I was wrong. I was actually combining the stats of two rare Great Bows that I have. The better of the two is this one:

Two-Hand Damage: 60-248

345% Enhanced Damage
10 Maximum Damage
100 to Attack Rating
Adds 1-66 Lightning Damage
Adds 30-128 Cold Damage
18 to Dexterity
1 socket: (socketed with 15 IAS/15 Res jewel)

The other bow is a great bow with the + to Max Damage and + to AR (both based on character level) mods.

Oh well...
