my frenzy baba is now lvl 75 and i 'd appreciate some hints to optimize him.
The goal being to have a nice frenzy, and now and then give him a ticket to travincial to replenish gold stash.

Bk 3 or ring 3 ml, 3 ll, 18 life, 57 mana, lr 22, pr 11
amu +3 warcries, replen 6
boots 30 frw, 10 FHR, replen 4, cr 28, fr 15, pr 38
Grief PB 38/378 and low roll Beast BA 245 ed /30 str
2 Java +3 BO on switch

2 GC 15 all res, 1 GC 13 allres 29 life, torch 12/20, anni

The GF setup, I only write what I swap
Chanceguard
2 Ali baba
wealth / forti
Boots and belt with +70 gold
Many charms with GF + Gheed

Merc has CoT, forti and Obedience

SKill and stats
20 Frenzy, 20 Taunt, 20 BO,
Enough to reach lvl 10 Double swing
1 in Shout, Bcommand, Battlecry, Speed, NR
1 in sword Mastery and 1 in axe mastery just for this nice first 28 ed that go +5% ed higher with + skill gears.
1 in Find item for the horking thing

enough dex to reach 136 for the PB
150~ str
rest in vita (at lvl 75, I have > 3.1 K with BO)


Question
1) Where to put the future skill pts :

- BA mastery to help my beast AR
- Sword Mastery to give even more power to grief PB knowing that AR is less critical with Fana from BA and ITD on the weapon.
- Battlecry / Warcry to use before swinging. but ..delirium ctc often overwrite all other curse /cries. Wouldn't the ctc Conf/MB/terror from delirium do the crowd control as well ?

2) Should I swap draculs versus LoH / IK gloves / others , because life tap is often overwriten by ctc from delirium , or keep them for bosses and super uniques, not affected by confuse.?

3) PLEASE one confirms, "Find Item " does not increase gold drop but only MF, right ?

1) Find item. Enough for 49% or something like that. 1 pt battle cry is also nice vs bosses (all kinds). Oh, and why are you using delirium? Only singers and bvbers need skills. Besides, the fetish morph trigger drags you down.

2) Drop dracs. LOH > all in pvm. Babas don't use life tap. WE ARE DEMI-GODS; WE ACT AS SUCH.

3) Find item gives you a second shot at a drop. That's all. If the monster drops, say, 50k gold on average, find item will give you that 50k... if it works ^^

I agree, go with laying of hands. The 350% extra damage to demons will have you ripping through Trav in no time. That's absolutely your best option, for gloves.

And pump more into double swing, unless you also want to double (triple?) as a MF barb. It won't help your goldfinding ability as much as the added damage will - since the faster you can kill the more runs you can do (unless you get a temp ban or something) and it will also help when you DON'T want to goldfind, and just want to kill things.

The added focus in Find Item is nice for MF/GF barbs, but you say the Trav GF trips are an added bonus - and that being the case, I wouldn't turn down extra damage for a few percent higher chance to drop an extra pile of gold. Double Swing. :smiley:

Although the baba is really rocking, I've done Act 5 hell in 30 minutes (including Anya Q) which never happened to me before, I decided to pump DS as Frankwest adviced, because it serves both Grief AND Beast at the cost of less AR for beast.

@sirwhere: The doll is a bit annoying but I still kill with it (depending on areas , ...no PI pls) before baba is "back". I find the main advantage of delirium is the CTCs, it looks it greatly reduces the number of hits I get by distracting monsters and speeds considerably my killing speed when I am overwhelmed (avoiding Recovery animation).
However, the drawback is the overwrite of curses.

Can someone tell me if some curses /Battle cry/taunt can stack ?
When using draculs and Atma amu it looks like neither Life tap or AMp can withstand the CTC confuse / MB /Terror.
Only bosses can be kept lifetap'ed or amp'ed.
what are relation ships between ?(OW, stack, etc..)

Battle cry /taunt /Amp /Life tap /confuse /MB /Terror /

Curses don't stack. They override each other, except attract, which doesn't get overridden.

Open wounds, poison, chill and stun are not curses, so they can stack with curses and, if I'm not mistaken, with each other as well.
