Help my pure light mf build!

I maxed the normal light stats, lightning,nova, etc.

Items im using are

Shako+ptopaz
Occy+ptopaz
Spirit
Tal's armor+ptopaz
Tal's ammy
Tal's belt
Magefist
Wartravs
2x P nagels

Inv: Pgheeds,17/20Storch

Merc is using

Andy's(not sure what to socket with)
Fortitute
Infinity CV


Any suggestions? Do I need FCR or will that sacrifice my mf? I'm sure this has been discussed but I couldn't find a clear cut topic on Light mf sorces. Thanks:)

I have a similar build to yours. I went pure light, still haven't maxed nova yet and do about ~22k.

I really have NO problems at all killing anything. My MF is ~325 and do a decent amount of damage. I also still have 150 Stat points remaining... :P

Might switch to a hoto for res...I didn't socket the occy, just hypothetical, same with the shako. Thanks for the feedback, still have to max nova, taking forever.

The one item you seriously need is an Infinity. Try and make it in a eth cv and load it on your merc along with some +str items. I realized that after getting it, the items I wore on my sorc were irrelelvant. It cut down my meph time from 40 seconds to 5 seconds with 524 mf (minus the time to get there).

How are you guys doing 20K+ dmg with those setups? I have a similar setup on my light sorc and dont do that much. Is it the infinity that is making the biggest difference? It is next on my list to get.

Infinity doesnt make a difference to the numbers in your character screen, but makes your damage output that much more. Plus it breaks 90% of light immunes when used on a merc, which makes the build perfect for running anywhere

I don't see how you're getting 26K unless you wear light gcs

bout the infinity...how much does 1 go for?

I traded 5hrs on east ladder for mine. Keep in mind it takes 4hr to make and an eth cv, which don't come by often.
