I've never used Grief before, so basically im wondering if ill do better in baal runs with ebotdcb/LW, or Ebotdcb/Grief?

Also keep in mind im trying to find the best possible way for my sword barb to kill Baal faster. Any help is appreciated.

Are you frenzy or ww? Griefs are powerful weapons, but are used less for pvm, because grief has bad durability and a high repair cost.

Oh im WW barb, and i would be using a Grief Phase Blade, so repairs are not a problem.

LW is not a good weapon to WW barbarians, even in PvM. It's too slow, so it's there only for the +200% ED it offers since the Life Tap and the CB become useless due to lacking speed. And no, the IAS cannot be made up via jewels or any off-weapon IAS. Only the IAS on the actual weapon itself matters.
