Hey guys, I've been playing this game intensively a while a ago and I decided to start playing again. I'm playing HC on Euope and I managed to trade a tals amu and loads of pgems.

I'm planning on using a damage reduction gear setup using Goatman's guide, since I have always experienced that barbs take loads of dmg in hell.
I also picked up a 20DR gladiator's bane and I'd better put it to good use, Í'll be using gerke's sanctuary as a shield and I'm concidering a sol'd arreats and such. The most reasonable weapon I'm looking at right now is a self made "Oath" in an eth CS, but I'd have to trade for every piece to make this.

The plan is to use this gear setup till I can afford better, but the problem I'm facing is obtaining high runes like "Lo", should I be trying to qube runes? Since finding those kind of runes is an ideal that will not happen.

Tell me what you would in this situation, run hell with your favorite barb and hope for drops of great value? Run the best places with some MF% gear? Would you trade for runes like Pul/Um and up? And qube those, or take the risk in trading for ist runes and up which are prolly dupes anyway? Any input is apriciated, and since I'm a Barb player to the bone I found this the best place to post it! :wink3:

Save your pgems. The price on HRs is dropping like crazy, to the point where it's easier (IMO) to save up the flawless gems that drop normally, cube them into pgems, and then trade them all for the HRs when you need them - i.e., when you have the items ready to have the gems shoved into them immediately. And trade all the little things you find that people might want for their pgems - like white and 4os monarchs, and white/eth 3-4 socketed elite armors. (Example: 3os Archon Plate for Pgems!) Save up your little currency-worthy items like these.

Then, when you're ready, come to the forums here and offer your pgems (25 to 30 should do it, easily) for the Lo. Someone will jump on the deal, I can pretty much assure you. Saving up pgems to buy what you need, as far as I'm concerned, is the fastest and easiest way to get anything you need these days. Just utilize these trade forums, and you're in good hands.
