If you just dropped in uninvited and began a PK fest, I'm not impressed. Just about anyone can get the drop on other players and just start whacking them. However, if this was some sort of PVP setup, then you definitely owned.

I was rushing a bunch of people today.. they were being good about drops until one snarfed Eldritch Orb from mephisto.. after i MAGGOT LAIRED them.. so i decided to copy this video. I led them halfway into river of flame, then went back to town. Hostiled. waited and WP'ed; caught up to them. saw the usual "WTF" (although not as funny as "GO HOME GO HOME") 3 explosions 6 kills. mages finished off the 7th as he crawled for the TP. the one who took eldritch didn't make himself known so it was the only way to get revenge on him. muahahaha

EDIT: actually the funniest thing isnt "GO HOME" it was when a 90 hammerdin in a chaos game said "Bad idea dude" after i hostiled them, about 20 seconds before he and his party were wiped out XD

I don't like pkers, but I like revenge.

I was CSing some people with my light sorc and one of them stole all my gold when I died, a LOT of it.

So I hostiled, chain lghtning and killed about 2-3 of em. The one who took my gold got away :<

But punishing the whole group... enh. IMO, you agree to help random people on b.net, you're kinda unconsciously accepting the inevitability of (at least) one of them turning into a complete idiot and snatching a drop from you.

Either way... yeah, a properly placed CE kills everyone/everything.

The first part about your post says 'someone cheated me out of a drop so I got revenge', but THIS part says 'I go around killing people for no reason.'

Why do ppl get so upset about "stealing" gold? Most of the time it's an insignificant amount that can be eaasily replaced by selling a wand or suit of armor. Often deaths occur in a chaotic melee where everyone is running around disorganized and there's a good chance someone clicked on it innocently or accidently.
