More damage doesn't mean anything when you can't hit the opponent. :rolleyes:

Here's a quick build for a Level 29 Bonesnap Charger that can go 2H or 1H:

Gear
Helmet: 3-Socket PRuby Helm OR Tarnhelm
Weapon: Bonesnap / 100+ Dmg Battle Hammer
Shield: +1 Din 30/20 High Def Grim/Barbed Shield
Armor: Rattlecage
Gloves: Death's Hand
Boots: Goblin Toe
Belt: Death's Guard
Rings: Angelic Halo x 2
Amulet: Angelic Wings

Some people will argue that using Bloodfist and Bladebuckle is much better, but I prefer the CBF and IAS with Death's. It's really up to you though. :thumbsup:

But you'll need to pump STR for that hammer...

And you could go for level 24 and up, it's all good. I wouldn't bother with deaths for IAS or CBF, as you don't need IAS for charging, and you can still ove faster than most with vigour/charge. For skills, I'd go max might, get vigour/medi for speed/mana regen, then dump the rest in charge! Around 1500 damage?

Steeldriver owns Bonesnap anyday, my lvl29 charger is hitting 2.3k dmg charge with a 203dmg sd, he doesnt need cb cause them dmg is enough to kill most ppl 1 hit anyway. And remember gtoe+bs+rc=1/4 chance of doing some real lame dmg (and its always when ur in a important duel O.o).

it may be purely perceptual, but IAS seems to help with recovery after a missed charge.

and my lvl 19 charger also does in the neighborhood of 1500 dmg max per charge, if/when I can hit something.

I may have mentioned it once or twice, but I don't do very much PvP.

a) I need to practice, and there's not much in the way of practicing when the 12 yr olds get pissy and come back with lvl 7x WW baba's, or worse, a bone necro with FCR Hack...

I have. I know what your gear/builds look like. I may borrow that naga back (if you haven't sold it) and try with the new baba after he gets a couple more levels though, bu tthat wouldn't be lld, or even mld at that point, and I'm sure I'd still get waxed by your BvA, in part cause I also know what some of his gear is (or used to be) :shocked:

Could limit the level on the games, that stops them from bringing their higher levels to the games. :)
Note that that will get them even more distraught.

on east ladder, when I'm online, it seems that the LLD games with level restrictions never get anybody in the game.

in fact, most of the LLD I've seen, usually results from someone on this board, getting a rush from me, or I've chanted them and they are power levelling, and some smack talking going on mid-rush, or during mid-quest (easem's tome/skill quests, etc) and then it escalates into one guy going to get different characters, then another, and soon, the rush, or quest mission that was originally intended to take place all of a sudden is an LLD/MLD festival...

You'd probably have a shot at me if you were my level and wore high defense gear. Then again, you can go the Twitch-SBack route and try to range and bleed me out that way. :shocked:

Er, please explain? I was under the impression that gtoe+bs+rc=90% crushing blow, which in no way lowers your damage. I suppose cb on a charger isn't really that effective, as you kill with a small amount of big hits, compared to say a smiter, who kills with lots of little/fast hits.

1060-1528 charge damage. Maybe thats just bad bonesnap i've got, or I havn't hrushed, but please tell me how you get 1500 charge at level 19 WITHOUT exceptional weapons or a bsnap/steeldriver?:scratch:

Okay, you caught me there....it's not 1500 Damage.

But it is VERY close to it. :thumbsup:

If you've noticed, I've edited out everything except Damage and Attack Rating. The rest of the build is my secret. You can pick out most of the gear from just looking at my LLD, but you'd be surprised at what else it's carrying. :grin:

a) one is making an assumption based upon a .jpg of a screenshot, that has already obviously been edited in photoshop, or some other graphic's application.

b) the screenshot would suggest that he is using it, but he hasn't admitted to it, or advocated it in this thread, or any other that I've seen on this forum.

c) it's entirely possible that the screenshot was generated by someone other than akukami who had/has access to his account and was using loader, and he just re-used the screenshot.

as for the damage on a lvl 19 charger, it's very feasible to hit 1,500 or so max damage without hacking.

as far as I'm concerned, if one is making a lld/mld bsnap charger, one should only consider if, if they have a perfect, or nearly perfect damage bsnap. (or steel driver - my gut tells me that the rez on the bsnap, as well as the crushing blow would be more useful in this category, but the IAS, of the steeldriver may make up for missed/frozen charge attempts)

regardless, when you are going against folks that in fact DO use hacks, and/or socketed gear, that otherwise would not be socketable then you'll want every last ounce of damage you can muster...

The point is that it's very possible to hit that high damage with a sub-Level 20 Charger. At one point, I had a nice Level 19 155 Dmg Pike, but I traded it to someone on these forums. I would've used it myself, but the only reason why I didn't was because I already had my Maul Charger up and running, and I really didn't feel like making another one, lol. :laughing:

my lvl 19 pike, is 14x dmg, but -20 or -30 req, I forget which.

the disadvantage of going that route however, is that I'm essentially tied into going one handed forever with this particular one. since he's mostly vita due to the -req.

you however, will gladly remake a lvl 92 sorc... :rolleyes: :laugh:

and not remake a lvl 19 lld that can be hell rushed, permed, skill/life/stat quested and geared up in 2 hours or less...

I guess the way I see it with my one, sole, single, solitary lld, is that if i get a slightly better weapon, it's probably not worth a remake, OR I can level it a bit more to 29 and try out the bsnap route, OR I can just have another permed mule :laughing:

i would go for level 24 on a bonesnap charger: that has the best damage/level ratio and thus the highest awesomeness factor. 25 would also be a possible option since you can use huge martels at that level (ie 250ish). I wouldnt go for 29 or such since additional crushing blow doesnt help much on a char that specializes on taking down enemies with a few chops.

Alright, we got the stats and gear sorted now, but what do you guys suggest in the way of skills?
*a point in zeal?
*get holy shield?
*how many points into charge?
*how many points into might?
*should i get vigour?

I'm leaning towards getting 1 point into zeal (even if you guys don't suggest it, I like being able to get a few nice hits in with my bhammer before i get back for another charge). Then I thought I might get as much as possible into charge (18 at lvl 29) and the rest into might.

But right now, I have a half-way-through-nm rushed lvl 29 charger with all skill points spare. So tell me if my proposed lay out is ok, please.

Hmm, if you don't drop a point in zeal you won't need 30 IAS on the gloves, allowing you to use bloodfists...and zeal won't be doing anything compared to a massive charge. Use tearhaunch boots to get vigour, saving 4 points. Unless you think that cb from gtoes is better than four points. At lvl 29, with a hell rush you could max charge (18), max might (20), leaving just 3 points left to get holy shield! But that means no zeal or res aura (IMO not necessary anyway).

zeal is useful vs other chargers
freeze aura could be useful methinks vs these sorcs, but I havent made such a high charger, because I dont consider them LLD

as for the holy shield - does it increase the chance of blocking vs magic things? I dont think shields even block them (eg frozen orb parts, or a fireball), so it's not that useful
the shield wont help you vs barbs anyway (or smiters), only vs other chargers

As for it being a joke, no. I for example have in the past been on Akukami's account, and at times we have shared an enchantress/mule account. Would it surprise me if someone else were on his account? not at all.

the image loaded was obviously photo-shopped to erase some "secrets" of the build. Is Ray the type that would potentially, intentionally add a frame to an image to stir up some controversy? That too wouldn't surprise me... I also would not be surprised if it were a legit screen shot.

The point is, I can't prove either or any scenario, and neither can anyone else - one can only draw one's own conclusions, and/or cast assumptions.

In my many years on this planet however, I have seen all too many times, the unfortunate results of people making assumptions. Even more so, people acting on, or gossiping about them.

On a side note, I'm considering remaking my Level 19 Charger into a Zealer just for a change of scenery. It won't have that massive 1.5k Damage, but I've never needed more than two or three Charges to kill anything below Level 25, so I'm not too worried about that.

if you're bored... I have a gnasher you can have... while I will more than likely continue to level the axe/naga barbarian, the extra chance to bleed (over the sback) is just underwhelming. at least PvM.
