Im kinda confused on how dual wield ias works and how beast fana stacks

I always thought that only ias on the weapon hits break piont
also does it count the ias from the weapons seperatly or does like only ias from one of them apply

only ias from the left hw affects ias (right when looking at the screen) and for ww only on weapon ias affects ias. i'm not sure but i believe fanatisisms ias will not work for ww just as it doesn't for werewolves. although if u carry it off hand it's inc. damage and ar should affect you.

Only the damage bonus from fana stacks. The extra damage from the aura and beast's plus str add a lot of damage. Whirlwind only counts the +IAS on the weapons. It doesn't count +IAS from other items or auras. The IAS on the weapons are counted seperately.

Use the weapon speed calculator, find a weapon combo that suits you.

Grief runeword says it gives +30-40% IAS, Grief needs at least +34% to hit last break point on berserker axes.

Oh, by that I meant that the speed bonus didn't stack.

whats an offhand weap??

when dual wielding, the weapon you equip FIRST will be your primary weapon. if you weapon-switch, or collect your corpse, the primary defaults to your GLOVE-SIDE weapon. to save confusion, i'd equip my GriefZ glove-side and other wep boot-side.

there is also a way to 'speedbug' your weapons (mostly used by frenzy-barbs & assassins), by equipping a faster wep FIRST bootside. the downside of this is having to re-equip your weps every time you wep-switch or die.

in short: glove-side = primary, bootside = secondary.

Sure about this? The weapon speed calc doesn't seem to think so

@ The two main questions here: AFAIK?

1) The weapon speed from your two weapons will be averaged. I used to think offhand weapon speed didn't matter. A FAR more experienced Barbarian-user corrected me on this common misconception.

2) Only the speed on your weapon(s) affects your WW hits. Nothing else should matter.

1 is incorrect. The speed is not averaged, it's counted separately for both weapons. So, to have the best outcome, you need to have both weapons at the last ww breakpoint.

That's Frenzy. Like Ce Olba said, ww checks each weapon separately.
