Vote for the best build!

It doesn't matter if its MF, or PVP or PVM...but which one do you enjoy playing and rapes in hell?
Not only is that an extremely poor list of all sorc builds, but this question has been asked and discussed for multiple times. There is NO SINGLE BEST BUILD. They all have strengths and weaknesses.

And a lot of builds hasn't been included to the poll so... This should be something like "What's the best sorc build in your opinion?" in the title.
My vote goes to Blizzballer although it isn't in the poll. I just like the power of both Blizzard and Fireball.

With a blizzballer you'll get neither the (true)power of blizzard OR fireball, just a much weaker version of both :french:
edit: I'd say blizzy, since I have yet many sorc's to try and I have enjoyed this one the most so far.
Lightning, no question, especially with Infinity, at least for PvM.
While it's not nearly as powerful as other lightning attacks now (let's say we're back in cows in 1.09 IIRC), a super-high-FCR sorc using a high-level charged bolt mowing things down is about the most entertaining thing to watch in D2. You get a second or so of a solid carpet of deadly bolts rolling across the ground, giving you the pleasure of anticipation followed by instant gratification. Oooohhh. Kind of like MSLE conviction-carrying monsters in reverse (again, you have to be a little older to remember the terror of those).
However, I've always liked FO simply because it's so easy to use and you don't have to use every single point in synergies. With lightning you actually have to aim a bit, which does take some of the fun out of the game.

fo/cl is fun, but way overdone (i got a few kicking aroud)
but i borrowed my friends light blue ball... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm that infinity kicks some serious *** - i had a lot of fun, if i could afford a griffin i might build me one...

poll was closed...my lvl 93 fury druid is my only char until the other day i made a meteorb sorc for mf pvm purposes only....and omg i love her. so my vote goes to meteorb.

Ok, then please go to Maggot Lair lvl3, kill that big maggot, go to Halls of Vaught, kill Nihlathak, go to Frigid Highlands wp-kill Shenk and Eldritch, go to Arreat Plateau, kill Thresh, go to ToD, kill wave 2, go to frozn river, rescue Anya(by killing Frozenstein)... Do I need to continue? I said Blizzballer cause she can kill them all without any trouble. She is much more versatile. If you plan only to do Meph, Pindle, AT runs, then I would also say Blizzy, but the Blizzballer is my choice cause she can kill all enemies with ease(except the rare FI/CI).:french:

I can do that with my es/blizz, teleknesis kills pretty good at high levels.
id vote for a cl/fo too, great fun and actionstylish to play, can do anything in game pretty easy part from ubers, best keyrunner too imo, downside is theyre expensive

i kinda like my 200/142 fire sosa, however i'm contemplating a 105/86/block/dr jobby
with a point in Static & Glacial Spike and a HF/gaze/glads bane/e-obedience merc, i can solo hell baal depending on monster-mix, its just the damn frenzytaur that gieb me fits.
i've even managed to grunt a mate through the chaos sanctuary with this char.
that 'toon really some into its own playing sill-buggers on the blood-moor (well, it's my lack of skillz that holds it back)
id vote for a cl/fo too, great fun and actionstylish to play, can do anything in game pretty easy part from ubers, best keyrunner too imo, downside is theyre expensive
whats expensive about full-tals?

Was that a joke? It can barely kill in Nightmare, let alone keep up with monster regen in Hell... unless you pumped Lightning Mastery or something?

Mine only does 97-100 damage and it can kill any cold immune I've come up against in under a minute. I know it's not fast but it works just fine.

I don't know about a new trend being started from it haha but here's a video. I only used telekinesis, no merc or static. If you use both of those it's ALOT quicker. I put the video at 2x speed because it's very boring to watch.

I maxed blizzard, ice blast, cold mastery, telekinesis. 1 in teleport, 1 in each cold armor, 1 in orb, and the rest of my points have been going to ice bolt. On switch I use a 5 es orb and lidless.
So far I'm doing well with this Blizzballer in Nightmare.
I'm level 30, and I've only spent 5 statistic points (strength), using only stuff I've found.
How much was that video sped up by?

It was at double speed, if you want I can put it at normal.
nova es sorc.. with self wielding infy. hands down the most fun char i'v blade since 1.09 gosu builds :grin:

idd say this new nova is more fun.. or atleast as fun. they tend to be sick expencive tho.
theres a great guide infy wielding nova sorc )or something like that) for building one in the guide sticky

Orb/Es ftw! Preferably for pvp but i can kill just about any monster in the game with one. I even cleared CS! I was just as shocked as you are now (gozu merc required) :P
