I would have just looked through the many theads, but I'm new, and I would like this to be an introduction thread as well.

So hello, I'm Krovvy, and I haven't played Diablo II in a very long time. The last time a played was in 2003, and I posted on this forum some then. Hopefully I can get back into this game, and gaming in general, and make some new friends.

I'm making a Magic Find Sorceress for my first character in four years, and I haven't a clue what to do. I don't know what skills are best, what equipment is best, where to farm, what's worth trading, and where to level. Last time I played was in 1.09, and apparently there have been many changes to the game since then.

The last time I played I had a level 96 Frozen Orb Sorceress that used Tal Rasha's set, with a Shako and Stormshield (Maxed Block). I would prefer a cold based sorceress, but if fire or electric is better, I will definitely go with it.

If anyone would like to clue me in on any of this, it would be awesome.

Note: I have a post in the donation thread. (USEast) :wink3:

Well I'll build around whatever would be the best, so it depends what you suggest for equipment.

I'm only going to start leveling when I know what my base statistics should be. Even without the equipment, I'll work without it. I'll be using whatever I can equip with the base statistics until I'm able to afford the correct items.

So I'm guessing a vitality based build would work best, but if dexterity is better, I'll still work around it.

Lol...His build was designed to be safe enough for hc, So you dont die.

So that means you cant use in sc?

I like pure fire. Its pretty much a personal preferance. I Hate dual tree sorcs as started chars. Just seem way to weak imo.

But seeing as you had a 96 orber back when you played. I'd have a look at Socialisms guide and see if you like. As i'm guessing your usto playing an orber.

I see your USeast, Hit me with a PM. I mostly play hc now but i might have a few things to help you out. And can rush and baal you stuff like that.

Peace

Yeah, it's what I know, though I can't wait to try all the new builds. I've been reading a lot of the guides, and about the new items, and it's insane! So many different possibilities for builds now, it's awesome!

Edit: I was lucky enough to meet a guy with an over burdened mule. I helped him transfer some items, and he gave me Tal Rasha's armor, an Occulus, Chance Gaurds, and a 4% MF small charm.

1 static field - great spell
1 telekinesis
1 teleport
----------------------------------------------------
1 warmth
20 fire mastery
20 meteor
20fireball
rest points in fire bolt
-----------------------------------------
this build is awesome u find more info in guides.
