Hello...
I have a new laptop from HP...so far I really like it, but I'm having a problem with diablo...when running the game in full sreen mode, I'm only getting around 40 fps, and it drops down to 1-5 every once in awhile...when I run the game in windowed mode, I am getting around 150fps...without a drop at all...however, when in windowed mode, the window only takes up half of my screen, and I would like to make it bigger...
I have a 17" screen, and I was wondering if the 1440x900 dimensions (not being the same ratio as 800x600) and "stretching" the game is to blame...I just needed some suggestions as to how to make the window bigger or how to up my fps in full screen mode...my system should be running frame rates much higher than 40 with a lag...I have downloaded the latest drivers for the geforce card...no help...sorry for the novel, but I am trying to be as descriptive as possible so I can get some help...here are the specs for the laptop...thanks in advance...I will be glad to answer any questions that would help...
hp dimension 9000
intel core 2 duo...1.73 mega hertz or so...
2 gig ram
nvidia geforce go 7600...256 ram on it...
