MF Singer

Just made this post in the ETF OT, and figured I'd post it here for some advice.

Okay guys, I've been reading about Singer - PVM style.

My singer was made or PVP, and even then I only had 1.3k warcry.

If I get one helmet, I can afford to get 2k Warcry damage. With 8fps. How amazing is that?!

Only thing is, I won't have any MF. It'll be all skills all damage. So I'd be restricted to Key running, and thats pretty much it..

Pit running too, but whats the point in horking if I don't have any mf? Guess I could get some socketables, but thats as far as it'll get me.

Ohh :( I'd have...80/40/40/70. That'd be 230 mf. That blows >< I guess I could have Dual isted alibabas on switch...that'd boost my MF big time.

Warcry for the kill, hork on switch. And I'd have super FCR too, so it'd be like imba-fast horking. :P

Thing is, heard it can't kill bosses. So how the hell would I kill Baal/Dia? o.O

Situation : I've got a 45k light sorc but it feels like a glass cannon at times. I loved the concept of singers, and I always have. Already got my char made: CryMeARiver-MF [since my old char CryMeARiver was taken =.= buggers]

What to do, what to do =[ Does this mean I just HAVE to pitrun/key run? No bosses?

I intend to equip my merc with: ETH COT [gf], Insight [eth cv hopefully], Eth Forti. I myself will be fully-twinked, pretty much. Two sojs and hopefully a +3 wc 10fcr amu if I can find one..

Singer or WW barb for MFing? I'v egot a light sorc but I want something different. Its a tiny bit merc dependant, and when he dies I get pissed off. I don't want to be that dependant anymore :/

230 mf is not bad. With Ali Baba on switch it gets better, but without HOTOs your fast cast for horking will drop to a crawl ^^ Not to mention you'll lose some hork % as well.

Just stick to HOTOs all the time. 2k warcry damage at 8 frames is VERY entretaining :)

Oh no, I have no problem with all of that.

What I'm wondering is, how capable is the singer at MFing? Not key running, MFing..

As in, what CAN I run, efficiently. And what would a different variant of MF barb have to offer, say a WWer/Frenzy?

The pit is fast. Hork with IST Death Carvers and you dont need any hard point on it.

I run mostly mephisto with my singer. It take about 15-20 seconds for my merc to poke him.

Basically you target the weak =)

I would recommend the pits, ancient tunnels, flayer jungle and the act5 uniqes. Eldrich, Shenk, Thresh Socket, Pindle, all horkable except Shenk I think...

I have 383% base mf and 693% with Isted Ali Babas.

Where can i find the Flayer Jungle?

And where can I find Thresh Socket? Frozen Tundra or something? :P Thanks.

flayer jungle = act 3, 4th waypoint
thresh socket = top of arreat plateau map, act 5, 3rd waypoint
