hi i was wondering if someone could post a list of where to level at different each level.

lvl 1-15- Trist Runs
lvl 16-20- Tomb Runs
lvl 21-35- Normal Cows
lvl 36-55- Nm Cows
lvl 56-65- Nm CS Runs
lvl 66-80- Hell CS Runs

You could also do Hell Flayer from 66-80, since CS isn't everybody's cup'o'tea. (Melee chars aren't a big fan of CS's risks :) )

There are many CS games full of people killing monsters for you and needing BO - but flayer can be soloed by melee characters, CS can't. I would say flayer should be done if there are no "good" CS games.

What about Hell Cows? Are they useful for anything?


lvl 1-15- Trist Runs


Forgotten Tower runs work better then trist for levels 10-15, but trist runs have more people to help you - same dillema as flayer / CS. If there are no trist games running and I have marsh wp, I always go through tower in biggest game i find - level 15 in 1/2 runs.

Also, if you there are no cow games to tag along with, you can't solo cows (no crowd control bulid) and there are no friends to cow you, you may raid travical / six temples in act 3. Each of these areas has easy to find unique(s) with minions which exp well for levels corresponding to cow runs on same difficulity.

if someone enchants me and my character is rushed I do the following:

1-4 blood moore
5-6 cold plains
7-11 tristruns
12-15 search for radament
16-20 arcane sanctuary or the second last wp (the one with 7 tombs) - these "bugs" give a lot of exp

20-25 nightmare blood moore +act1quest1
25-38 nightmare cows (you can do them till 45-50)
39+ hell cs?


if my character isnt rushed or enchanted, I try to get him to hell cs as soon as possible
and in the meantime I do the following

1-4 blood moore
5-6 cold plains
7-11 tristruns
12-15 search for radament
16-20 arcane sanctuary / act3 bazaar
21-25 maybe a cow game if there is none - act3 bazaar and further
26-30 no idea here, I try normal cs, but it's usually hard without level 30 skills and it takes a lot of time
30-35 - can be achieved by doing act1 nightmare I think
(you could find a cow game here in theory)

nightmare tristruns give nice exp too, if you join full games

lvl 56-65- Nm CS Runs


i find nm cs runs to be bad exp already at level 59, cant imagine getting a char to 65 there, at least not if i wanted to level fast.

When im playing alone i usually level up sort of like this:

1-6 act 1 start
6-14 trist runs
14-18 andariel and early act 2 quests
18-23 arcane sanctuary and tombs
23-25 act 4 (hopefully someone helped to get the act 3 waypoints)
25-40 act 1 nm
40-50 act 2-4 nm
50-75 hell

with my self chant.

I do stoney/darkwood until level 10. Then cats/trist until lvl 15/16 whichever is required for rclaw (I'm old, and forgetful, and it's been more than a week since I made a new char)

once rclaw is equipped, I do arcane, and canyon run in a full game which makes lvl 20 happen in that same game.

from there, I use the chanter to make a cow game, in a full act2 game, so nobody knows I'm cowing the new char with the rclaw.

soloing a full game of norm cows at lvl 20 pretty easily gets you to 25/26 at which point one can get some help, and do nm cows, or if nobody is on to fill up nm cow games, I will just do a couple more sets of solo norm cows with the chanted rclaw with the ultimate goal of getting to lvl 40 before the character is permed...

I think my record is lvl 38, hell act 4, non-permed char... (but again see that note above about being old, and forgetful, and not paying much attention to details about a game)

yes, for a WW barbarian with leach, and a scoach of crushing blow, it's very good experience in a full/trade game. or, in a "walkcs" game that will take them a while.

my very first char on east ladder softcore was an angellic wearing, bsnapper. got him to lvl 85 pretty much doing flayer.

After using a abbriviation for a long time one tends to forget it might be ambigious to newer readers. Perhaps we should make our own,Classic abbriviations list and add it to the sticky.
