Wanting to make a Frenzy barb with Oath

So I finally got some decent runes after a couple days of Countess runs. I wanted to make a sword with self-found runes just to say I did, so I made it in an eth Balrog Blade. It seems like a good weapon for the primary hand but I'm having trouble thinking of something to use in the off hand. BotD would be a little ridiculous because it would defeat the purpose of having 60% IAS, but Death, Destruction, Grief, and Last Wish seem like good choices. Grief more so because I have the runes for it. Would it be worth it to go looking for a bunch of Jah, Vex, and Ber runes? Which one compliments Oath the best?

Also, how does % AR and + AR work with Frenzy? Say I was using Death, would the 20% Bonus to AR and +50 AR apply to both swords?

Yeah, Beast is great, but I'm using swords and not axes.

Sorry but imo BeastZ and EDeathZ is the only way to go. Then again, that's the best Ubering setup, so you might not need it for regular pvm.

Yeah, this is for SP. I'm basically making a cookie cutter Frenzy barb but replacing the primary hand weapon with Oath and a few pieces of equipment here and there. I know I could use pretty much any high damaging, elite sword in the off hand without much trouble, but I'm trying to find out what compliments Oath and retains a faster-than-average killing speed. There's just way too much crap involved with the single player trading forum so I'm trying to use self-found runes/equipment.

Oath is a ladder only runeword. Are you using the mod that allows you to use ladder runewords on SP? If not, you should pick another weapon besides oath.

You need this:

Grief Phase Blade in off hand
Indestructable|Massive damage|Bonus Damage to Demons|Hits 5fpa BP|ITD|-25%TD

Since you are not doing ubers, and you have already made OathBB, their is no other weapon better in your situation.
Good Demon Killer combo
For switch weapons, go ebotdcb and Lawbringer Phase Blade, when fighting undead. :thumbsup:

In single player, that would take some time. Especially "a bunch" would take time.

i know your using swords, but i kinda like the idea of an e-oath scourge & a stormlash on a frenzybaba.

how about e-oath balrog/crescent moon balrog? that CtC static is gonna help. look for crushing blow elsewhere on your gear (guillaumes, goblin toe, DURESS ARMOUR.....)

for the record, Oath is Botd-Lite. its an AWESOME weapon for the cost/mods. an eth-oath small crescent is the MLD melee weapon of choice for its huge damage for minimal stat requirements.

edit: i notice you have the runes for grief, in which case: job done. i somehow doubt you have the dex for a PB, so maybe a Zweihander (you can use this on a ww-barb later if you feel so inclined)?
