Socket question...

[Enervate You]

I'm currently using full Tal's set and I've socketed the armor and weapon. My resists are maxed so I don't need to Um anything. What should I put in the sockets. I was thinking fire or cold facet since I'm meteorb but they don't seem to do much with just one socket. Any input is appreciated.

Consider ists or ptopazes for mf, tals is a wonderful mf set and shouldn't be wasted. Facets will work also, if you don't plan on mfing.

If you're SC, facets/topazes. If you're HC, rubies/um.

Don't be fooled by the 'low' -5 res you see on facets. This can increase your damage by thousands, depending on your current output and specific enemy resistance. Fire facets will likely benefit you MUCH more than cold facets though, since cold mastery already has built-in -res.
