still confused about AR on dual WW barb

hi, i've been reading around on how to make whirlwind barbs and i came across Rik's WW barb guide. i'll be doing PvM; as i read the part on dual wielders, it says that you don't need that much dex; only enough to use weapons.
Why is it that you don't need a lot of points into dex for duel wielders, wouldn't you miss a lot when you whirlwind? Is it because you're holding two weapons which makes it easier to hit than a single weapon? :shocked:

and also, if you don't really need that much dex for duel wielders, does that mean then you'll hit 99% of the time then?

AR from dex is nothing. Getting direct +AR from other sources is much better.

Get dext only as much as you need so you can wear your items.

Get your ar from items (raven frost ring is good choise) or other such items that give +ar.

No, you will not miss a lot more if you duel wield, and you will not hit 99% of the time unless you use mods like the raven frost or angelic rings, battle cry, charms, ect.

As mentioned, dex does not add much to AR.

you will never have 99% chance to hit, max is 95% :smiley:
but you probably wont hit that, good is probably 80%.
use of battlecry is great, and using dual ravens and either highlords (if you want ds%) ir maybe even a metalgrid if you need res/ar.
as has been said, many better ways of boosting AR than dex. waste of stat points.
