Cant figure out what weapon combo i should use

Cant decide what too use. I want too focus on damage but i need too survive aswell.

Maybe grief + ss?

grief and beast if you want to dual wield (most damage)
for BvB max block with grief//ss
what type of ww barb are ya?
i'd still go for griefz//beastz whatever you are (unless BvB) as you never need more surviability in PvM, you will survive easy enough.

Well, thats certainly helpfull. I'm going full vit since i like that more then a dex build with a shield. I really wanted a very powerfull character aswell.

Anyway, you should know im building a PvM barberian, should had mention that. Any further input would be great, if you have anything too say.

Just have too ask, what about BotD? i thought that was better then beastz atleast. Guess i have too trade my zod rune that i just exchanged for a jah rune in order too get my botd then. No worries there for me though, i want the best gear.

A whirlbarb should be able to dual wield and use a shield. Just keep the shield in your stash or on switch until you need it. A shield is really only useful to a whirlbarb when he is fighting other whirlers.

Unless you plan to make a bvc, in which case, you don't need enough dex to get max block.

Grief plus beast will do the most damage in pvp. In pvm, grief will lose durability fast and be expensive to repair. So you may want to use an ebotd.

So many opinions i must say.. would like grief for its lifeleach, but my barb will be very expensive i guess.

kinda stands between ebotd/grief/beast now. Still cant decide though so would appriciate any input

make sure you make grief and beast in non superior weapons so repair costs are low :smiley:
if you cant deal with repairing ytour weapons, 2xebotdz wont be too bad, just not as high damage/CB (beast)/DS(grief) etc...

umm have too ask, how huge is the repaircost diffrence? because a superior berserk axe with 15% ed damage seems really nice... :p

also, i need too ask what you guys think about this gear.

And 115 str for gear, 40 dex (i dont like incuding torch or anni as i dont have perfect abbritutes and i dont even have anni yet), and rest in vit.

I don't know but ditch the 2xbks. Going PvM = Botd.
Highlord = 30 lr some critic strike. 20 ias which doesnt matter that much.

Steelrends < Dracs, got leech and lifetap + STR ( OW )

use Angelic combo, ravens + Amu or something similar.


PS: Whirl isn't such a great PvM skill. 1pt berserk and 1pt concentration goes off better sometimes.
I'd suggest using Forti over Eni in PvM. Isn't necessary PvM, but you tele quiet fast anyways. But lowish mana.

Whirl is easily one of the best pvm skills, you simply need to know how to use it. You must always have CNBF so at least cham something.

Everyone thinks a certain view about weapons and etc... but is angelic combo really that good? anyway i think i will go with grief and beast if i dont get more points of view regarding that.

if for PvM, no you DO NOT NEED cbf, its useful though for conc'ing zerking'ing and movement...
it nets you more hitchecks on a monster that is trying to attack you (not so effective on those that run away ofc :smiley:)
so dont insult people, when there point of view is perfectly valid, and even correct.
matter of personal preference, you get more hitchecks if you spend longer going through someone.
doesn't work in PvP though...you need mobility, and in BvB, it makes nark all difference, as the other person is in range as long as you are (as most use range 3 weapons)

my 2 cents,
best pvm ww weapons=Ebotdz+Edeathz or Your weapons of choice in phase blades..
CBF i find very useful in pvm. movement with out is just annoying and whilst cold chilled may net you more hits, it also leaves you open to range enemies which i find the most danagerous in pvm
