I've got the keys... but are they possible to use in Single Player or just Decoration? Do you Need to be on b-net?

As far as I know, you can drop the keys in Single Player, but you can't cube them, so they are pretty useless. This quest is for battle.net only.

There is a mod though that enables ubers quest and few other things in single player. Try asking in SP forum.

My understanding is that the mod that allows the ubers to be run in SP also contains a character editor and is therefore disallowed from being discussed here. Only mods we discuss (but not from a technical standpoint) are RWM (RuneWord Mod), RRM (Red Rune Mod) and I think Median (from Brother Laz?). Info on those can be found in the stickies in the SP forum.
