Which is better for BVB: Steelrends or Draculs

I believe the BVB guide in the sticky explains why to use Dracs over Rends.

As most of you might already figure out, dracul provides far more better performance than rend, why? The reason for steelrend of being sucky because the ed% on it will boost your dmg about 250-400, factor in pvp pentaly, the dmg comes out to be really bad. Same thing to gore and wartrav. The ow on dracul is better as long as you have lvl90 or above, and it has life leech as well. (more on this later) so dracul > rend; the only good part about steelrend is the def and cb, and the 10%cb doesn’t make any difference you know. I said cb is good in bvb, but did I say you have to achieve 95% so you can trigger it every time? Definitely not. Usually 50-60% cb is already good, achieve 80%+ is over-killed and you sacrifice other good gears, you cannot purely use cb to win.

I have not played d2 in about a year but when i played BvB i used draks on my lvl 91 barb and they worked great ; ) dont need as much str to use as rends anyway.

dracs over steels anyday as the lower requirements also ow which does unresistable dmg over 8 secs which is godly dmg when ur lvl 90 + also the fact in bvb u dont hit very frequent meaning triggering ow slowly wears ur opponment down.

Th dmg addition from steels on a standard grief setup after pvp penalty & max dr is 30.While dracs(@ lvl 90) have a chance of bleeding an opponent for 533 damage over 8 seconds.For comparisons sake a wieghtage will be:

25% of 533:

133 vs 30.

Simple choice.

185 str for rends 50 str for draks , 143 def on draks 281 def on perfect rends draks are much better after lvl 90 rends are only better for that def i would say.

IMHO Rends are never better!

They both suck. You should use perf chance guards because that gives 40% mf when your opponent corpse pops ^^
