charge hotkey problem

1. i use hoto on my nec
2. i set a hotkey for oak sage on X
3. it works
------
4. i join a new game
5. i click X
6. nothing happen

do you know what's wrong?

did you die? did you remove item? each time the item gets re-equiped (trading, dieing, etc) you have to reset hotkey for a charged skill

you need to re-assign hotkeys for charged and gear given skills for each game you join iirc

not gear given, tele from enigma will always stay, etc... from my experiences, everytime an item with charges gets reequiped, i need to reset...

Hmm, I have a wand with lifetap charges for my zealot and he only equips it when fighting the übers in Tristram. I normally don't have to reassign a key to lifetap when re-equipping it, but sometimes I have. My guess is that it might happen when he dies while wearing it. It never happens with e.g. teleport from Enigma.

Enigma provides a +1 to teleport rather than a charge skill like Hoto does.
Perhaps this is some explanation for this discrepancy.

Sometimes however, I have to unequip/reequip my Enigma because the Teleport skill unassigns with no reason... It sometimes happens in the middle of a Baalrun... Nobody else noticed that ?

I never have that. What happens from time to time is when my my character dies while having teleport on the right mouse button, that selection gets replaced with the standard attack, pressing the key again will solve that problem when the corpse has been retrieve, of course.

I had the same problem Frosty is reporting. For an unknown reason losing the teleport hotkey, the problem is gone when re-equipping eni. I never had the experience with the charged skill hotkey gone.

Mmmh, I'm still wondering if it's a minor bug of some sort, or if it's related to the fact that the HR's involved are (most probably) duped :scratch: ?
