Well, I found this website while searching for the answer of the mysterious channel gem. I guess I was just bored enough today to bother.

Anyway, I never knew it gave out secret messages, and I was waiting for a friend to return from AFK and I started clicking. Ferociously. After a while, my hand grew tired and I started clicking to immitate songs I liked through clicks and common commerical tunes. Well, what do you know? Perfect Gem Activated. I'm still looking at it right now, cursing that I don't have an operable camera.

I thought you had to be disconnected from b.net to see this? Maybe I'm just too excited. Either way, I find clicking that thing more amusing than actually finding answers about it! xD

Perfect Gem Activated happens sometimes. It's completely random, and it doesn't do anything.

Blizzard pretty much put the chat gem in as a joke, and they refuse to say anything about it. Whenever anyone asked them questions about it, all they ever said was "the chat gem is working as intended".

If you search around here, I've seen pictures on the site of "Perfect Gem Activated". Like I said, it doesn't mean anything, but it's kind of neat. Sometimes when I'm bored I'll give it a few clicks to see if I'll get a Perfect Gem.

Blizzard is so cruel. Oh well, I wish I could get that "Moooooo" one.

Blizzard somewhat likes the diablo community(I wish they'd like us more than WoW)... so they put in the "Bored Be Gone" gem. For those of you who get bored.. Blizz was kind enough to amuse you while you studied the carpet.
Thats all it is. For those of you who just now realized the blue thingy in chat areas was CliCkAble?!/%1.. Congrats. :thumbsup:

Blizard thought, to stop people from figuring out the malacious secrets behind carpet, that people liked bright colored lettering in channels. We do.
