stuck in a rut

every year i decide that im going play diablo 2. woooo. ive played for 7 years now i think, anyway, my question is rather simple, i never can seem to get godly items like i see ALOT of other ppl with, i play all the time, mf meph in hell yadda yadda wtf do i need to do to get this godly rune word items, just tell me the secret!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I find if you run Pindle/Eldritch/Andy/Meph/Shenk in hell you get good drops, found some pretty good items off them.

I wouldn't worry too much about it really. I don't get the godly items (for the most part) either and I've mat/patted quite a few characters. You really don't need the godly items to quest in Diablo, especially since some of them have such high requirements that you've already finished questing by the time you can wear the items (for example Andarial's Visage and the Tomb Reaver).
