Isnt it a good idea to use a phoenix since it have % Enhanced Damage ??

You can if all you care about is pure damage, but there are better shields out there that offer more things than just damage, like blocking, resistances, life etc.

If you don't have much money, then it's an ok choice. Obviously others like coh or enigma or fort will be much better.

Use either dracs or laying of hands

grief is 100000x better than lw, unless you're doing ubers, in which case I will say lw.

use either a shako or coa for helm, or kiras if you need res.

The main problem with Phoenix is the chance to cast Firestorm. While it doesn't affect Zeal too badly, it creates serious interruptions when you're smiting. The interruption is enough to lose a duel or get whacked by an Uber.

Last Wish vs. Grief has been an ongoing debate for a long time. LW gives Life Tap, Crushing Blow and resistances from Fade, all the things desired in an Uber Runner. Unfortunately damage is quite low. Grief is very high damage, but the modifiers like Life Tap and CB need to come from other gear.
