Hi :) i just traded with one. I traded a beast ba for a Botd Ba and that was pretty nice for me. When i traded he said : Its a dupe ! i just Duped it!.... Im just kidding and then he left.
What ?!?! So my question is, can you dupe runewords??
Unfortunately, yes. Almost any item can be duped. You can be sure that trading for any high rune will give you a dupe. Also, trading for most perfect or near perfect items are dupes, like uniques, runewords, charms, jewels, and organs.

Omg.... Very sorry to hear that
Something like that is bound to happen, unless you're only active within a tight circle of honest people. I would ignore what the guy said, and keep thinking you got yourself a good deal. Who knows? Maybe he was just a jerk..

I would go as far as saying most things used on Battle.net are dupes. Both runewords, unqiues, sets, runes, jewels, charms etc...
Just keep some common sense with you when trading, I guess... but that does ruin the whole "I got a good deal" feeling when you keep suspecting that good deals are bad deals.
