1. I would like to make a merc Faith bow, what bow should I use?

2. Do you have to have killed Baal to go "Key Hunting"?

3. Keys are only dropped in Hell by Countess, Nihalthak and Who?
a. I have done numerous (50-75) Countess runs without finding a key, what am I doing wrong?

2. Do you have to have killed Baal to go "Key Hunting"?No. Keys are part of normal drop of the Hell Countess, Hell Nihlathak, and Hell Summoner (Act 2 Arcane Sanctuary).


a. I have done numerous (50-75) Countess runs without finding a key, what am I doing wrong?If you're in Hell, then nothing. Keep plugging away at it. 50 straight runs without a key is unlikely, but it will occur about 1% of the time. Keep going and the keys will come eventually. My personal record was about 80 straight runs without a key. I've also had 10 keys in 15 runs.

1. Can't help as I never made a Faith

2. Nope. The keys are found regardless if you are a mat/pat or not.

3. Summoner (Act II, Arcane Santuary) drops the third key. You're just being unlucky with your countess running. Just keep running and eventually she'll stop being stingy and drop a few keys. Just make sure you're in Hell :grin:

Since it hasn't been addressed yet: I'll vote for the hydra bow on a merc.

Well for a merc faith you might want to try one of these bows...

Shadow, Great, Diamond, Crusader, Ward, or Hydra...

They all have advantages and disadvantages. Ranging for damage, requirements, and Sockets.

I would say just use the first one u find with 4os.

Couldn't decide between ward bow (which I had) or to hold out for a crusader.....I made it with the ward bow, not bad lvl 14 Fanat....helps a lot with the new Last wish pblade I got for my Kicker/shuriken sin.

Keep in mind that the act 1 mercs are not amazons but are rogues and can't use the amazon only bows like Matriarchal Bow and Grand Matron Bow that give +skills.
