What are Aldurs good for?

So I basicly just want some info. What is the best kind of druid to make with aldurs set?

FC Druid most likely. Hit 8 frames. Everything else that can make use of the weapon need a little more damage to be effective.

Fire Claw. You can either make a Bear or a Wolf though Bear is stronger in PvM.

if you put 3x 40-15s in the weapon and 30 max eevrythign else and use 37x 32020s and bloodfists dugoes highlords and 2x ravenfrosts, cta and spirt on switch i bet it makes an interesting fury druid

Im gonna go with verashiden on this one. I have tried using aldurs, but the fact that it has a weapon just kills the usefulness. If you have it kicking around, you could make a FC bear (Fire Facets in the weapon are nice) or maybe if you want some fun a windy druid (although you will lack a lot of +skills, you'll have the aura it gives you . . .).

Shael the weapon so it hits 8 frame Claw. I'm making on right now and it's interesting even without the armor (only 54 >.>)

My summoner uses full Aldurs. I could go Shako CoH Hoto and be more effective, but Aldur's is reasonably cheap. And I like da glowy. =)

I figure since it's just a fun build and I don't want to spend massive currency on it, I might as well free up mule space and use the set.

Used aldurs on my fire druid on hcl

Worked fine questing with a friend or two. none of us were overpowered using semi-crappy gear.

Didnt quite mind all the set bonus. Sure beat random rares i had instead.

That's a good point. Aldurs is only a pos compared to the stupidly over powered runewords and uniques we're all used to. I bet if you took aldurs over to classic it'd be the most popular items ever.

With 30 OIAS it even would hit 7 fpa with a FC bear. You have enough options to get to that (belt, gloves, open sockets in helm). I think a windy druid would struggle a little with FCR.
