so my pvp wb is all good to go, the ideal setup with charms, all equipment...

then i look at the weapon slot. nothing.


where in heaven will i find a 6open socket war scythe?????

i've had no luck the past night running 10 hell cows and flayer.
yes, i'm using zero mf.

this is saddening me.

anyone else have suggestions as to the whereabouts of this 2hander?

Let's see now. War scythes are normal items, not exceptional or unique. Try limit the number of possible item drops by running nightmare cows instead, they should still get enough sockets if I'm not completely wrong.
Non-socketed will also do, because they'll get 6 from Larzuk.

Just wondering, why not use a phase blade instead? Especially if you plan playing pvp, the use of shield gets VERY important. The dex requirement of 136 is high, sure, but remember that you'll probably want some block too.
Phase blades are faster and they are one-hand. That's what I'd say.
If you plan to look for phase blades, try cowgames, pitruns etc.

I believe the 6soc war scythe is for dueling casters. The range can help a bit (or at least it does with a fury wolf).

Anyways, I would try nightmare cows as well, and possibly (I'm not sure if this works with war scythes), shop at larzuk or hablu. At least, thats how I found my poleaxe for my self-weilding infinity.

Edit: I personally would rather have a pb made for casters with ias/res jewels and sanctuary on switch, but I've never yet made a fc bear.

i just made a level 85 fc wb one handed with a 110ias/178ar pb. i got bored of dueling with him after a few hours so i made a new guy from scratch, dumping all my dex stats into vit instead. i come across all casters and hammerdins and smiters in all pub duels...no one seems to melee duel anymore. the only melee duelers i come across are ww barbs and chaos sins, which the 5 range will help greatly.

i just did an ilevel lookup and ilevel 41 is where the 6os flag is triggered for war scythe.

i'll be running pun nm cows until i find one.
i figured i'd cut out the higher ilevels for chances at elite items, etc.

ww barb with no stormshield for the dr is insta-dead for me
tried it a couple of times with 2 hander, but i cant get a hit out, because im dead too fast ;)
