i made one a while back...and the problem.
when i had hoj, dragon, 2x dreams, they BOTH never pulsed, only the shock did. occasionally, out of 1/5 maybe then the fire went, but most of the time it was the shock. and the dmg = badd..:censored: i asked my friend about this, and he said that the shock pulses at a much faster rate, thus meaning the shock its more than the fire.

so i made a pure torchadin.
EXCELLENT damage. (no joke. a CONSTANT DMG [unlike holy shock where it ranges from 1-what ever,] and also mostly the shock pulsing)

so i have...

20 resist fire
20 salv
20 conv

now about the 40 points...

should i got 20 foh, 10HS 10 holy shock?

or...

going zeal?

or...

going charge.

i asked my friend (again) about smite, and he told me it is a horrible idea, because of extremely no damage and no fana. the zeal with have the auras on them, thus making the damage pretty nice. think if i do the angelic combo i can hit something occasionally? i might take out the salv if i am going day dreamer

thanks in advance.

i may sound like a butt head, but im really really madd about my shock/fire

Hoj has itd. If you're doing pvm you should end up hitting monsters most of the time.

And the conviction reduces monster defense so you shouldnt have a hard time hitting anyway.

If you go the FoH route, then you should put all 20 into Holy Shock otherwise the damage will not be enough to handle what you are trying to accomplish.

http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=550647 That's my guide to the Auradin. Your friend was wrong. They pulse at the same time and just as often. It just shows one or the other. So while it may not look like it, it's working. As far as angelic's go, you have ITD so you don't need attack rating. Zeal is the skill you need since the damage is added to your attack you'll just want to attack as fast as possible, but only put in one point so that you can keep your physical damage down (helps against IM). As far as skills go. Get Holy Shield up first. If you use Dreams max Resist Lightning. You could also put points into Redemption if you don't do physical damage so you can heal since you can't leech well. On the other hand, you could max Sacrifice and have physical damage really contribute to your attack but then you'll be toast if you get Iron Maiden'ed.
