Fire facets and vengance (pala)

If I use a fire facet in any item that I use on my Avenger (paladin using the combat skill avengance) will it have an affect on the fire dmg done by vengance?

Btw I am using Griswolds set.

Yes, it does. But I don't think facets are so good for avengers, because fire is only 1 type of damage from 4 you are dealing. And avengers also use high-lvl Conviction, so the -5% resistances on facet is useless anyway.
Probably +min/max jewel is better damage-wise.

I don't think that Rainbow Facets is very good for an Avenger. Escpecially with the Griswolds set. Try to find +40%, +15 max (or as close as you can get) damage jewels for the weapon, and 15% IAS, 15%allres jewels for the armor/helm. The shield can be Pdiamonds/Eth runes. I don't expect you to have all those godly jewels, so get the closest ones you can.

This will increase you damage and survivability more than Rainbow Facets will, I think.

I got these jewels so far thanks to some good friends that help collect and through trading.

+25 max dmg
+15 max/32 ed (bought for anni yesterday)
+7fhr/14-39 fire dmg/1-92 light dmg/cr 15% ( this vs max dmg jewel? )
+15 max/1-95 light dmg
+15 ias/14ed
+9 min dmg/1-100 light dmg/cr 20%
+10 min dmg/60 ar/+9 dex (not sure about this one, nn ar for avenger...)
+12 min dmg/1-4 cold dmg/+9 dex

I am in doubt as whether to just use this set for something else. If I can make an avenger with dream and hoj or similar that is equally good this idea seems very expensive expensive :undecided:

Expensive doesn't matter, always fancy with the full set aura showing, and actually doing some damage. Slap Shaels in the shield for a 1frame block rate.
