Exile in a Kurast Shield?

170 def 23 all res kurast shield with 4os.....just got this and wondering if it would be a bad idea to exile it...seeing as the eth vortex exiles go for 25hrs...im not that rich atm.

Save up your runes for somthing better.

I wouldn't worry too much about the shield being ethereal. Once we start talking about ethereal shields people start freaking out and boosting the value ten-fold, even if the ethereal is only 10 defense higher than what you could find with a normal shield. I myself, got a kurast shield with 40 resists for about the cost of 1 high rune. That means I spent the equivalent of 4 high runes for a darn good Exile. You just have to shop around. If you just wait for an ethereal one you will end up paying twice what I paid, easy, for just a marginal improvement. Sell your shield (you may be able to find someone to give you a hr for it). And buy one with better resists (you can rope yourself 22 more resists!), but if they ask you for some tremendous amount, keep looking.

When I finally got my exile, all of the sudden, my character was near invincible despite the fact that he was poorly built. But, by buying a mediocre exile I was able to access harder parts of the game and get around and kill faster. It's a great investment into your character even if it's just temporary.
