ANOTHER question about fire druids

if most fire attacks(volcano, armagedon, and fissure) have a cool down time, i dont need fcr, correct?

people tell me to use hoto and monarch spirit, and they also say if im using spirit then i SHOULD NOT max block, correct?

well in total i get 5 +skills, but wouldnt it be better to just go get a earth shifter maul? (+7 skills)

Ew to Earth Shifter.

But yes, you don't need as much FCR as a Windy. You should still have some though for summon recasting. So perhaps the 63 BP.

Your biggest focuses should be
1)Surviablity
2)Damage
3)Mobility


Can not kill something if you are dead.
Can not kill something if you do barely any damage.
Can not kill something when you have no control.


You need a balance of FHR/FCR just like any casting chars. (FCR for teleporting with engima)

Spirit Monarch.
+2 To All Skills (Damage)
+25-35% Faster Cast Rate (Mobility)
+55% Faster Hit Recovery (Moblity)
Cold/Lit/Psn +35% (Surviablity)

But you can not take much damage.


StormShield
Damage Reduced By 35% (Surviablity)
Cold Resist +60% (Surviablity)
Lightning Resist +25% (Surviablity)

But you do not gain damage or mobility.



20/20 Fire Monarch
+20% Fire damage (Damage)
-20% Enemy Reistance (Damage)

You gain damage but lose moblity and survablity.



If you use spirit you should not max block... the dex requirement to have max block with a plain monarch is just not worth it. The returns would be better with just putting the points into life.
If you use stormshield... Max block becomes a option

StormShield:67% <- Not shabby

You are not a town sitting druid summoning bears.
There is more than +skills you have to worry about.

There is always diffrent choices for gear... but remember you need balance of
(fhr/fcr) , (damage) , (life/dmg reduction/res)

If balance wasn't needed how come ,
you dont see good barbs in dueling game with all strength/2hand wep winning.
you dont see sorcs with just + skills and no fcr

Good example of a char with no balance is your typical bowazon... and lets put it this way.... they got the shaft more than ss druids.

Any choice you make you should consider making up for the lack of another with another item slot.
