View Full Version : When is block recovery triggered?

So this seems so simple, but I am not certain that I understand when block recovery is triggered - when ever a block check is made, (ie after I my defense is breached) or after a successful block is made.

The reason for the distinction is that I am trying to Guardian my first Sorc (after 2 failed attempts....) and I don't want to spend the stat points for max block (especially as she is no-twink) but I feel as though I will need a shield for the resists.

Anyone know?

Blocking recovery happens when, you guessed it, you block a physical melee or ranged attack.

It's only worth it to wear GA only if that faster block nets you the next breakpoint along with ur shield. But if it doesn't, then it's worthless.

It's like wearing an extra 30 fcr, but not reaching any other faster breakpoint.

You only get the block animation when you successfully block.
