Trapsin questions

I just came back to the game a few days ago and I have a couple questions. Does attack speed matter on weapons for a pure trapper? and does increased cast rate include laying of the traps? and finally U dont remember how u socket gear? thanks for the help :P

the first question, yes it does, trap 'laying' is dependent on IAS
the second question, no trap laying is dependent on IAS
the last question makes no sence to me

Take a peek at the Horadric Cube formulas on the site here. The main page will have a link to them, and it'll tell you how to socket all the different types of items. I'd do it myself, but I'm at work and apparently HAL can't allow me access to that information.
