It's when you make a character exactly like a build guide instructs you too.
Like the Lightning Amazon, the Hammerdin Paladin, and the WW Barbarian. Those are all examples of 'Cookie-cutter' builds. They are always the same if you build them like the guides tell you to.
But make no mistake- they are not weak or cheesy (well, the Hammerdin is cheesy, but definately not weak at all).:grin:
A properly built cookie cutter build is usually quite nice and very powerful. This is why there are guides devoted to them. Because they work.
You gotta be careful, though, because not all builds/guides are Hell Viable. Some are specialty builds designed to be challenging or different, not necessarily for beating the crap out of stuff in Hell.
