Okay so my Assassin here is a WW/Trapper with D Talon permanently on left mouse click and Widow Maker on switch. I'm at the stage where I'm close to where I want her but I want to perfect her. Let me break her down for ya!

~Arsenal~
5K Lightning Sentry
4K Whirlwind
2K Guided Arrows
800 Kick (plus poison)

~Stats~
Level 86
2800 Life with +4 CTA buff
177 Str
112 Dex
436 Vit
6 frame FHR
Low FCR... whatever I get from Trang Claws and Arachs
47% DR
59% chance to weapon block
Terrible trap laying speed without BoS
Maxed and slightly stacked resistances without Anya (with Fade)

~Other Skills~
Mind Blast
Shadow Master
Dragon Flight (on claw)
Cloak of Shadows

~Equipment~
Head - Crown of Ages w/ 2 empty sockets
Armor - Dusk Shroud Enigma
Gloves - Trang`Ouls Claws
Boots - Shadow Dancers
Belt - Arachnids Mesh
Jewelry - 2xRavens + Mara's
Weapons - Fury/Chaos Suwayyas
Switch - CTA/Spirit for buff, Widow Maker

~Inventory~
Anni+Torch (mediocre stats)
9x plain Shadow D. GCs
7x 5 resist all SCs

With that said and done, let me get to the help I need. I'm really happy with her performance so far and it's a blast to duel with her... however there are loose ends to tie up.

1) Low trap speed without BoS
I'm trying to replace my lame Fury with a Runic Talon one. That would make it so I would need 42 to IAS for the 4 frame. With that setup I'm 2 away from meeting that (arg!)
2) Low FCR
Yeah so basically I'm not as fast as I'd like to be. Here I'm stuck with Ravens for the dex and an uber-legit Assassin amulet sounds too rare and expensive...
3) Low Health
I tossed a few points into dex and maybe around 20 in strength. Maybe with a better torch/anni and waiting until a higher level with Enigma might help here. How much would 9xLifer GCs change my health?
4) Empty sockets in CoA
I see these as a way to help round out my build. Should I pop a jewel in there with IAS to cover the 2 more I need with Runic Talons to hit 4 frame traps? Should I stack resistance more? Maybe a poison facet might do good?
5) Attack Rating... the age old question
My AR sticks around 5-6K. This usually isn't a problem but I can't help but feel
it would be so much better to pump that up a bit. No ideas here... anyone?
6) Could use higher trap damage?
Aside from planning to gain 4 or so more levels, should I consider ditching Fury for a trapper claw?

To answer a few questions...

Your gear is good, you're obviously on the right tracks. The good thing about the CoA is that it's customizable, you can obviously use the sockets to cover what you might lack in other areas. If you need the ias, pop an ias jewel in one of the sockets, possibly with a second mod if possible. (res/edmg comes to mind) ber in the other socket if you need to round up the dmg reduction, or a facet if you like that idea.

It'd be good to hit the next fcr bp, you've got 40 fcr now with the trang gloves and arach, so you need 25 more for the 65% bp. That means a circlet with 20 fcr for 60%, and then either a 2 sin/fcr ammy or a 10 fcr/stat/stat ring. that'll be good for mind blast and teleport. bit of a difficult situation there.

it'd be good to upgrade your chaos/fury to runics, or even greater talons.

Obviously 9x lifer gcs will upgrade your health by a lot, since the +life is bo'able. I think your trap dmg and attack rating look about right. If you want to buff your AR up try looking for some fools mod runics with ias if possible. or even with +light sentry. of course this build can get pretty specific with the gear.

i'll try and help more later. anything ive posted here clarify anything at all?

Your build seems 90% the same as mine. Heres what I did to address the problems you seem to have.

15 ias/15 res jewel in CoA + a Fools Runictalon with good mods as my primary claw. Runic talon has 30 ias, and the jewel hits the 4 frame. A fury in a runic would be the same, but I feel fools resolves the AR issue as well practically by it's self. The trap damage issue I fixed with the right claws. A 3 light sentry chaos, and 3 light sentry on my fools helps a lot here. The FCR yeah, you need a crafted amy to reach with CoA. It's a given, and as for the ravens, I used a Cham as my second socket in CoA to give me leeway on my rings. I use two really nice rare 10fcr rings with str/dex/res/attack rating, and that's how I hit 65 (my amys only 5 fcr)

All in all the changes neccesary don't seem too out of your reach judging on the gear you already got. Just gotta play around with it. Lifers are a huge help to hp btw, consider 9 charms with 30 each, before BO. That's substantial. If you want to perfect her, you might consider rebuilding once you get a 'complete' gear set, and pick a level goal that you feel is realistic for you to reach, and base your stat allocation on what you need at the level. I'm rebuilding mine now and will need to pump strength 5 points, and dex 20 to use CoA/Runics, and that's also going to save me one major chunk of vit points. (this means your reliant on gear forever on the char, but hey, perfect is perfect for a reason)

yuh, suwayyahs are kinda slow. i'd use a godly fools one, but would prefer something a little faster, like a Greater or Runic Talon.

look for some kind of fools mod claw with + to lit sentry on it. then um/shael as needed to hit a decent breakpoint. some IAS in your helm will also help out a lot. i wouldn't bother with a facet personally. some res & ias is more useful overall.

now, as for your hat. as nice as they are, i am not a big fan of a CoA on a 'sin. i feel you should look for 20%fcr on your helm, which means a circlet of some description, preferably with various +skills, res, etc. a CoA is certainly viable, if you happen to have a godly 15+fcr amulet to go along with it. 65% fcr is a goal you really should try to make.

your life is a little low but some nice shadow gc's will largly take care of that.

finally: practise. your likely to get owned for a little while, deal with it. all top 'sin players say the same thing, they all got WTFPWNT when they started duelling with a ww-sin.
